If you put fighters/mines in the system you can have the fighters either attack all non-allied ships that attempt to enter, or charge them a toll to do so. Mines left in a sector will simply cause damage to any non-allied ships that enter a sector.

Something appears to have gone awry with the game. When I try to access it I find myself greeted with this message: "Fatal error: Cannot redeclare unixdate() in /home/virtual/site1/fst/var/www/html/bnt2/adodb/adodb.inc.php on line 1541".

Thanks for the fix.

Resetting the game is usually done every month or two on the other servers where I play. A winner is declared and the game is reset. It is generally impossible to catch someone with a huge lead because banking is way too strong in the game.

Hey, maybe you could offer some poly merchandise to the winners...er..ummm....at least the stuff that never moves.
