    Wish Me Luck

    FYI: Just a quick note to let everyone know that I will be hositalized starting tomorrow for about 5 days. I will be undergoing lower back surgery - Ouch! Oh well, what can I say? Nearing 40 years old and my body is falling apart!

    So if you notice that I haven't been active in Aeturneus' WotW game later this week, you'll know why.

      Update - The hospital just called me. Evidently the Surgeon who is supposed to be performing my proceedure has to reschedule. The hosital said that they should call me back either later today or tomorrow with my new surgery date...so I'm currently in a holding pattern

        Ok, my new surgery date is now 06 August...so I have a few weeks before I go "under the knife."

          UPDATE: I will be undergoing my surgery tomorrow morning (July 22) ... So I will be out of the net for the next few days.

            I survived the surgery. The actual surgery lasted for 9 1/2 hours. Now I'm on the long slow road to recovery.

              Glad to hear it Wittlich.

              9.5 hours.. wow.. thats a long surgery. So how long does the recovery process take?

                The doctors have told me that a "full" recovery will take from 6 months to 1 year.
