  • You Idiots

Ok, while I know everyone is going through that initial startup phase of the game, I still think there should be at least something happening on the board, so let me begin:

    1) Futurescape - you guys are the only corporation with more than one trader, so you deserve the biggest insults. Your home planet is right next to fedspace... whah? do you call that a strategy ho hum... it was invaded and stolen from you quite early last game... by me, in case you don't remember, and I fully intend on doing exactly the same thing this game. Better stock up on defenses - that way I will hurt you more when I destroy them

    2) Uncle Enzo - Why are you always trying to catch up to me in experience? Next thing I know you will be blowing up planets... wait... I hope they aren't mine

    3) Teedo... why haven't you registered here yet? And, are you duping? If so, I wouldn't waste my time on this game, since you will be deleted in a few weeks max. Strict policy of no duping here. Dan does enforce it, just not till the game has been running a while.

And if it isn't you... who are all those dopes (dupes) in merchant cruisers?

Well, insulted people, pipe up, tell me I'm a fat arrogant idiot. You'd be 1/3 right... I am arrogant, but that is because

    I 0WN YOU ALL!!!!

    hah.

Not so much trying to catch up in experience as I am trying to catch up in ship class (if you remember, on 2 days my net experience even went down!).

Personally, having never seen you, I can say that you're at least *2/3* right.

        aeturneus,

I killed you. I captured your ISS and sold it as compensation. I captured your home sector. So you destroyed our planets in 1791. Well you are even in worse shape.

well, I basically left myself wide open to attack, you have my ISS and all my 12 million colonists - and tonight - a level 2 citadel and three level 1's. I have a scout marauder and 0 credits. Hmm... I guess that strategy wasn't so great after all

Anyways, I don't really have a way of getting back into this game at this point, don't want to trade for two days before I can afford a merchant freighter, and don't want to impinge upon other's good will. So, I think I will do something else and wait for wittlich and co. to fight with burbel, then I might come back to watch

            Until then, Cya!

Actually, I think you should do that and fight it out; I don't have a home sector, and don't plan on starting one anytime soon; I am just spendind my turns trading. You can get the merchant freighter quickly, and the ISS comes 2 days after the merchant freighter.

Looks like this game will be interesting after all (I was afraid that Aeturneus would just finish everyone off quickly in this game).

                aeturneus,

I was quite surprised at your aggressiveness. Fortunately I was able to find you with a lot of luck on my side

Well, that's the way I normally play. Aggressive, risky, action is my style. In Age of Kings I would normally attack in feudal, in Age of Empires my favourite strat was the Sumerian Villager rush. I like to get the ball rolling as quickly as possible

Of course, it all involves risk... you either win big, or you lose. So far in tradewars, all the risks I have taken have ultimately ended up in loses, even if for a while I was at the top of the heap. Oh well...

Next time I guess I will be even more aggressive. I will Nav-haz the fedspace sector you are in the same time I take your planet, so that you blow up as soon as you enter the game. Then, you will hopefully be punished enough to resign

I will win this game someday
