What are the settings like for evil traders? Are they good ones? I would hope to get more evils in a game than the current one had.

          and...

The Shipyards are not open in the un-
registered version of TW2002. Ask Your
SysOp about registering Trade Wars 2002.

If the shipyard isn't open, how come I see three merchant freighters in the game?

Also, how much does it cost to register the game?

Actually, I started with a Merchant Cruiser and traded it in for a Merchant Freighter. So the Shipyard IS open for business.

OK, the oddest part - the game was registered the first night, I bought my merchant freighter (and should have bought a battleship! .

After maintenance, it was no longer registered. So, I logged on and blew all my money gambling at the tavern (trying to figure that game out).

I went from around 450k up to around $500k, then all the way down to $0. (well, $30k). So I guess I didn't figure it out, after all.

I will try to resolve this problem asap. Something must have been corrupted... I have to go to work, will be back in several hours and look at it then.

ok I just looked at it, seems that the registration key has been replaced by the bbs name.. changed it back to what it was supposed to be, and it is registered again. I apologize for any inconvenience, and am scratching my head to try and figure out why it did this and how to prevent it from happening again.

To answer a few earlier questions, steal rob ratios are both 100%. I didn't change anything... i don't know if this is good or bad yet.

                          and...

It costs $40 to register the game, with the 4 node package. Reasonable price.

1000 turns? Phew! If you play without helpers it can take hours to use all those turns. I'll have to pass on this one.

A more modest, realistic, and achievable goal is to encourage the idea that one may be mistaken. Doubt is humbling and constructive; it leads to rational thought in weighing alternatives and fully reexamining options, and it opens unlimited vistas.
