Unfortunately, I don't know enough about either the Ferrengi or the Cylons to make a decision. But IIRC reading around the Ferrengi are pretty easy to deal with it you know what you need to know, so I think putting them in would be pretty safe.

As for the Cylons, I remember that, in the beginning, they were pretty strong and pretty mean, but then they got toned down a bit, and I personally never even saw one last game.

But I think adding them could be a nice addition to the game.

Also, when does registration for the game end?

No aliens, the reason is that a second and third player (the aliens) meanswe'll hunt down ferrengi and cyclons instead of competing directly with each other.

Aliens are not as much fun as humans...

The only problem with that is the absence of any evil players in this game.

True, the rewards just ain't there to become evil. Stealing should be far more rewarding to lure some players to the 'dark side'

            We need more bad guys!

Yes I definitely think the steal rob ratios should be more favourable... with 400 turns, setup takes a huge bite out of the potential profits, and it is hard to clear more than a million a day.

That may sound a lot, but you have to fight off all the good players in the game, who will be making more than that once the organics farms really start rolling

Heh, only if the port regen rate is over 5% do the goods stand to make money.

                  lol... 20 days to regenerate

lets see... that means I can maybe do one planetary negotiation per month, maybe two in this game!

I think 15% is still too low, but whatever.

I guess "Civilization's End" is probably sitting around 0% right now eh

It's never had more than maybe 100 or each type available; I too think it could be bumped up a bit more (most of the FAQs I read seem to mention 25% - 35% for port regens). But I'll gladly take 15 over 5.
