Ok, I was finally able to login after downloading a shareware version
of Absolute Telnet which supports ANSI graphics from tucows.com
I'm guessing the problem was with the java-telnet client, or perhaps
my IE settings (no idea what they would have to be).
On my first try I entered my Apolyton name at the login, thinking
I would be prompted for my game name later once I entered the
game itself. By the time I realized my mistake, my character had
already been enabled and the game was underway. So I immediately
quit and started over using my appropriate game name (Talon
Karrde).
To whomever is in charge of this, go ahead and delete player Jules.
Don't worry, I didn't actually do anything with that player.
Sorry about that.
