Yep, the Telnet server is definately down at present. I wonder if they will get it back up this weekend? We may have to wait until Monday...

Dan, when you bring the server back up, please don't mess up people who were sitting around cloaked. Certainly the cloaking device will have expired when you bring the game up, and all of a sudden they are sitting ducks, easy targets for other players and the Ferringi and Cylons.

It's still down at the moment. I just hope I don't get screwed.

The game is still down I assume they can only fix it by rebooting the machine, so we might have to wait some time.

            Dan,

I tried to log on about an hour ago (about 9:30am your time) and I could connect. However, when I disconnected telnet and ran SWATH, the server died again.

Not to be a nag, but, well, OK, I'll be a nag! =)

Any idea what happened with the server, or when/if
it will be up again? Has the clock in TW kept spinning,
or was this a "hold"? (I wonder if The Ritz is finished
              yet! =)

Sorry guys, I was out @ E3 and just now saw that the server had been rebooted. The TW server should now be up and running.

                  hehe

Thanks dan. Glad to see that terra and the trading ports were restocked while the server was down. O.Z. corp has finally recovered all those colonists burbel stole... better hit those ports while they are still loaded!
