He raided my home sector and stole more than a 1.2 million colonists, raping my planets and engaging in wanton destruction. As O.Z. corporation reconstructs we assure this unprovoked attack upon a highly good aligned corporation will not go unpunished. His insolence describes a conscience without remorse, and spots his previously untarnished record. His recent successes against ferrengal have bloated his ego, to the point at which he feels more powerful than the federation and does not believe its rules apply to him any longer. On behalf of O.Z. corporation I call on all good aligned traders and apolyton corporation to avenge my losses, which are going to be very difficult to replace with the current dearth of immigrants on Terra.

1.2 million colonists, as in 1.200.000! You mean 1200, right...?
Better watch out people, hide your women and children, stock up your larder, man the stockades!
Burbel's on the rampage!Skeptics should forego any thought of convincing the unconvinced that we hold the torch of truth illuminating the darkness. A more modest, realistic, and achievable goal is to encourage the idea that one may be mistaken. Doubt is humbling and constructive; it leads to rational thought in weighing alternatives and fully reexamining options, and it opens unlimited vistas.

Now, Predilect, a moment of pause on your part.
As you have already pointed out, due to the dearth
of colonist from Terra, immigration and emmigration
issues are on the rise.
Now, I have it on good authority that a number of
colonist from your worlds had requested transport
from their Mountainous or downright Volcanic
planets to more habitable planets.
Obviously, their requests fell of deaf hears, as you
left a beautiful Oceanic world untended while forcing
your people to work the Fuel Ore mines on your less
than friendly worlds, for what dastardly purpose I
cannot imagine...
All I did was answer their pleas. While I considered
moving them to the Oceanic world for you, I thought
that, given the number of colonists involved, they
would be happier given more room to roam; hence, the
transport (free of charge, might I add) from your planets
to a class M world (more similar to their beloved Terra).
So, surely you can see, that I have not strayed from
the path of the good and righteous, but, rather, remain
a spokesman for the people, willing to act on behalf of
the people, even if it earns me condemnation from my
fellow traders.

Burbel, unfortunately a small group of rebels within my system have deluded you into assisting their devious plot to sieze control of my colony and bring the other colonists under their dominion. I cannot imagine what posessed you to listen to them when they were so obviously speaking for their own interest and trying to evade my wrath by escaping to another system. In this context, I am inclined to believe the worst, and attribute this remarkable ignominy to your own greedy and malicious intentions. You ought to have enough difficulty keeping sector 14 from the Ferrengi, without challenging all that is pure in the galaxy.
If you do come through on your offer to recompense us with 120,000 credits, we will assume you have repented for your evil actions and think of this matter no more. I only hope for your sake that you will, for woe betide those who stand against the might of O.Z. corporation and the legions of good.
[edit - yes I did mean 1.2 million colonists. Colonists are normally listed in thousands, so the planet display would read Colonists:1,200]

While I do not agree with your assessment that I am either
"greedy" or "malicious", and I do feel that I was acting in
the best interests of your colonists, to spare bloodshed I
am willing to recompense you for the loss of your colonists
as we had agreed previously.
If you check your account balance at the Galactic Bank at the
Stardock, I am sure that you will find that reparations have
been paid.

Received from Burbel at 06:06:34 PM S.D. 05/15/13:
> I transferred 120,000 credits to your Galactic bank account.
I must say that I am impressed by the wholehearted repentance shown by Burbel in this instance. I look forward to happy future diplomatic relations with Burbel on behalf of O.Z. corporation.

Did somebody say they want colonists? I know a place where there are lots, 3M or so. However you have to fight the evil players guarding the place for it. Not an easy task.(\__/) 07/07/1937 - Never forget
