the funny thing is, I had a holo scanner (expensive piece of turn wasting junk) but i had loaded a script that didn't do any scanning at all... my bad. (i wont even say what else I had on that ship, but it screwed over a few days work..)

I usually get both. Density scan always. If there is anything unsual in an adjoining sector I do holo scan.

Do the nav hazards ever dissappear?

Who advised you of that? Hmmm... a member of the Apolyton Corporation, out to prevent any potential threats?

You obviously didn't read my reply to Apolyton's fiction about their unprovoked attack on me. I told everyone what was in sector 652. I ought to know since it was all mine (bitter, angry muttering to self ensues)...

Oh one more ouch! (Yes I LOVE complaining! )

Yesterday Swissy comes into my sector wipes out my fighters , blows up my planet , and destroys my cargo tran Basically wipes me out.

Then I go with my lil' ol' escape pod up to stardock and get a shiny new Scout Marauder and off I go trading to start from square one. After about 15 minutes of trading a ferrengi guy warps in and blows me to bits.

And so ends the story of Thor, King of the Losers.

That is a big Ouch KT. Did you have any fighters or shields on your ship at the time? Even 10 fighters and 5 shields is better than nothing...just wondering.
