If you want to take on Ferrengal, make sure you have LOTS of forces. The actual sector may not be so bad, but the Ferrengi WILL try to take it back. -

If anyone reads back in the logs, they will see what sector
Ferrengal is in. I was considering trying to take it myself
and then use it as my planet (since I doubt any of the corps
will let me start my own) but doubt that I have the power to
do so.Comment

Its a terrible place for a home planet..it will turn 100% NavHaz with ease. The ferrengi will send waves and waves of ships to take it back. The first ones with hit the mines/figs you have and create a small NavHaz. Each time though they hit more and more NavHaz's since they keep creating them with the debris from their ships. Eventually you will have to have at least 1K shields to even enter the place.
