I noticed you Yin, but appreciate your not attacking me - I just barely picked up the game. However, after running out of turns in non fed-space, I believe my days (or hours?) are numbered.

Well, then, I encourage all of you to do your best to attack us. Of course, you understand what that will mean. Until then, I still stand by my convictions outlined above NOT because it is profitable. Heck, stealing other people stuff and selling their ships: THAT'S profitable! But not the path I will willingly take.

we have blown up two good people(under the circumstances that we have explained) and lots of evil ones. others have been doing the same if you have been noticing the log. why should we be different?

At least the others didn't had the nerve to pretend to be doing it for the good of humanity.

Yes, it's often dirty and thankless work. But we are dedicated to The Cause.

Yin, anyone ever told you that you look like a politician answering questions during an election campaign?

Of course Markg, you're obviously right. I mean, I wouldn't want you to fry your brain thinking that there are shades of gray between black and white, and that your own (misguided) notions of morality can be anything else that the Truth with a capital T.

Having said that, I think people actions speak for themselves.

Ours is the Cause of Good.
                  Though Good is not easy.
                  Though Good is seldom free.
                  Such is the Universal Balance.

As Apolyton proclaims it to be.

Stand against the Good and weaken...
                  ...yourself...your past...your soul
Or see in the Great Light a Vision
                  Of Apolyton making you Whole.

Such has Apolyton created the heavens
Such has Apolyton created the rules
Though there will always be The Uncertain
                  The Hutaks...The Fools

Yin, what fools do you take us for?! Your "poem" (or is it a chant?) is just down right scary for the free world/universe!

Yin, are you Miriam's brother? (SMAC reference, in case you don't play it.)

The above is Apolyton Co.'s Sacred Chant. It is sung before and after any encounter with an imbalance in the universe. There was quite a large disturbance early today, in fact, and the mighty chorus of this chant helped us to cleanse an invested sector of space.

Until today, the chant had never been seen by The Unworthy. You need not thank me...for merely looking at it will grant you at least a measure of Goodness, which just might tip the Cosmic Balance in your favor despite yourselves.

This Apolyton retoric is downright SCARY!

ROFL see now THIS is TradeWars! Where are the large corporations, the throngs of newbies flying around cursing those on high, the evils sneaking about, the goods enforcing their version of righteous truth?

You just can't get a truly great game going with less than 10-12 people, preferably 20-25, and the more the merrier. Give me 100 players and I'll give you a 20k universe with 1500 turns you'll never forget :>
