  • Message to Hutak from the Apolyton Co.:

As you view space from your escape pod, let this be a reminder to you that Apolyton Co. will NEVER sit still and watch your evil plans take form. You will be hunted, beaten and taught a lesson again and again until you join the fight for good under the Apolyton Co. banner.

This message has been brought to you by the Apolyton Co.: "Leading maker of custom-fitted Corinthian leather seat covers for intergalactic vessels since 2010."

The Federation price on Hutak's head didn't have anything do with this did it?

We at Apolyton Co. don't work for money. We work for principles and the Greater Good of the Universe!

Ah...of course. So Yin, are you Apolyton's Corporate spokesman?

And in the name of this "greater good" you ruthlessly hunted down, and killed off honest, FedLaw abiding citizens? Why don't you go and hunt down the Ferrengi instead or the Cylons....

Greater Good, my Friends, is often better seen by those of Greater Enlightenment. Often we at Apolyton Co. are forced to take action against those who believe themselves to be doing Good Work but who, unknown even to themselves, are beginning the work of Evil. Were it not for the Great Guardians at Apolyton Co., the universe would not be worth having.

With time, patience and reverence for Apolyton Co., you may yet come to see The Truth.

Good work Yin26! How much more alignment did you get by getting Hutak?

The depth of my Good Alignment could never be measured by Instruments of Man. (...not sure...but it was significant...my "Time has expired" for the day so I can't go and check...)

(Looks like I got 140 alignement points or so as well as 100 experience points.)

Clearly Hutak is hurting, as his futile reward for my ship shows. This is typical of an evil soul struggling not to face the error of his ways. So he will post this reward, have his money taken from him in the meantime, end up a broken shell of a man...only THEN will he see that he must repent and revere Apolyton Co.

Hutak: The pain that will come is for your own good, friend.

Which begs the following question to be asked: "How, pray would a inexperience player wandering in space be starting along the path of evil?"

Ah, yes. The weeds of evil must be plucked early and often so that proper fruit may grow. I sympathize, of course, as you no doubt imagined you were a young apple seedling...but if Apolyton Co. determined you were indeed one day going to become a weed, far better to remove you now so you make truly understand your inner nature before taking root in the Apolyton Universe.

Just curious, what is it with the poetic allusions that seem to be poping up everywhere today?
