  • Don't fight other ships unless you want to be evil

Learnt another lesson today. I revenge against MarkG's attack on my escape pod.
And heee. I am an evil person again. sigh.
I bet Apolyton Corporation will hunt me till the end of time now.
You really want to take me seriously?
    Think twice!

Your are absolutely right about that Chowy. I've already cast an Apolyton curse spell on you..

Then about attacking ships: of course you can attack evil traders as a good guy, that only lifts your alignment!

Markos had every right to attack you when you had a Federal reward on you for bad deeds. I understand that you and Markos have worked on a solution, however.

          I await the result.

            *sigh*

I managed to capture a merchant cruiser operated by an evil alien trader, but when I got it back to the Stardock, the Feds reposessed the ship before I got a chance to sell it.

DAMN IT! The warning just says that I can't park it overnight, and I didn't!! I can't even recoup my costs in lost fighters

Yin: Another user (DanS) had destoryed my ship first. Mark destroyed a defenseless pod to get the commission. Is it a bit evil? ;-P
Anyway, MarkG has offered a reasonable deal but I cannot fulfil it. 8Xk credits! How can a newbie afford it? Guess I have to earn money for a long time before clearing the grudge from Apolyton Corp.

Guess I am not so smart trying to kill MarkG defending with 40 fighters only.

[Evil Grin]I am deeply sorry for the accident.
How about I become a EVIL mercenary of the Apolyton Corp? ;-P
You see that I have about 50 fighters after being attacked by the XYZX@&*#@
Feregui. You can kill me, just don't do it in the federal space.

As an aside, I believe that there should be an ethics guide for the newbies like me. It is really tempting to attack a 40 fighters force not parking in the federal space. ;-)

Well, it's a matter of choice. If you choose to attack a member of a corporation (currently the most powerful one), you gotta figure you'll be in a sore spot! Now, if you want to do some dirty work behind the scenes for us...hmmmm....

Actually, after DanS has destroyed his ship, he could have claimed the award. That's what I did.

It was all DanS's fault not doing that

If he's not a bad guy, you can't attack him in FedSpace no matter what he had done to you.

Well, somewhere in TW web pages is a statement that "if your ship has a combat computer it can detect how many shields are in the target ship". I guess that Constellation & Scout Maradeur don't have that computer..

Fellow players beware, Mark was one of the first to state "if you have more that 100 fighters, you will be towed out of Fed space." This maybe true, but don't trust him.

Well, if you don't trust him, buy 101 fighters and park in Fed Space just before the 4 a.m. check and see what happens.
