  • Civ2 and History

When you play a historical scenary in Civ2, you can re-write our history. In fact, this is one of the best Civilization's parts.

I want to know what scens give you the oportunity of re-writing history on a curious way. Maybe you can tell us how.

As a matter of example, if our Modern Age would be as I have played it on Exile's 'Morden Age' scen, France will be a part of Spain, England island will be a Spanish and Holy Roman Empire affair, with England struggle for survival...

Please post there curious world that you have created playing scens.

        I like the map, too.
Unfortunately, I don't have old maps from my games. But I remember when I conquered the whole western europe with the visigoths.

Well, I like the 1880s type scenario... In Exile's 1870, as Japan, I've annexed all of China, defeated Russia in war and occupied Vladivostok and annexed Hawaii, as well as French Cochinchina and Dutch Indonesia. And now I'm preparing to occupy the west coast of the US.

One I enjoyed a change of history with is Gothmog's "Justinain", was quite fun to stop the barbarians as the WESTERN Roman empire, then retake the east as well as Persia, all with only Strilcho (and a barb king i bribed ).

Always a blast to kill Atilla.

I recall having played Exile's Modern Age twice. The first time, the German Empire stretched from the Volga to Portugal and from Sweden to Syria, the second time, the glory of the Ottoman Empire was ressurected by conquering everything from Romania to Morroco.
And, apart from that, I don't wanna mention just how many times Persia had conquered all of Europe

La Fayette started some threads about playing scenarios with the weakest civ. For example, winning the default WWII scenario as the Neutrals, French, Spanish, or Turks. Those were all fun and very challenging!

John Ellis' Colonies III as the Plains Indians would be a real challenge.

Nice to see you here, Stefan. Can I speak a little with you of your scen '3dpunic'? I know that it's a little Off-topic from the thread tittle, but I've played it without any Carthago's city lost!
