  • Question: Why Civ2's AI ...

... seems to ignore teatries signed early?

I expand: I have played games were I have a peace teatry signed with, say, Germans.

But, some time after the turn where we signed the teatry, I see the option

    'I suggest a peace teatry'

If I touch F3, I can see the peace teatry.

Is there any workaround for this bugg?

I have no idea, but I recall this happened in civ 1 as well.

I haven't seen it a lot (maybe once or twice) in civ 2 though...

In CivII, the treaties are not permanent. I forget how many turns they last, but you will sometimes need to renew them. F3 will show you at peace, but when you contact the AI civ, signing a peace treaty is once again an option.
