Regardless of design advantages or disadvantages, the naked truth is that the vast majority of the Civ2 designers/players turned their backs on ToT. The question therefore is not whether ToT is more advantageous than FW or MGE. The question is, why people ignored ToT? I hadn't realized it was never released in Spanish. That's too bad. But for those who do have have it, I'm just about to finish a play test version of "Red October" a ToT scenario of the Russian Civil War.
I'm looking for a few serious playtesters who will be able to gve it a run through and provide feedback over the next 2 weeks or so. If you're interested, please send me an email. Thanks.

Al que inició la cadena ¿No serÃa mejor pasarlo en su forma primigenia desde el CD en vez de instalado ya del disco duro?, digo esto porque de este modo está más comprimido ocupa menos y el que lo recibe lo recibe para instalar y asà la actualización a v. 1.1. no da problemas. Aparte de que no he conseguido encontrar el parche no-cd para ToT en Eltaranna y si es el no-cd del MGE este no funciona.
Por último aún no he llegado pero parece interesante ese concepto de civilizaciones alienÃgenas.
No he conseguido que ningún parche no-cd-check me funcione, asà que estoy tirando con un backup de mi CD original de Civ2 (y es que el original hay que guardarlo como el tesoro que es ).
Por cierto, no consigo ver las pelÃculas de las maravillas (aunque curiosamente sà escucho el sonido) ¿Alguien tiene el mismo problema?
Otra cosa que no convence es lo difÃcil que resulta distinguir que unidad es, varias veces he tenido que poner el "visor" encima de una casilla para ver que unidad era la que habÃa ahÃ, si una falange o una legión o un arquero.
Kramsib, esa es exactamente al mayor pega que tiene ToT, que las unidades no se distinguen bien. Dicen que cuando has jugado unas 345 veces te acostumbras y ya no hay problema, pero yo no tuve tanta paciencia
Sobre la otra mano,no consigo instalar el patch 1.1. El ordenador se descontrola y me saca la infamous box esa the error GetEd no se que mas Pues se queda sin patch, que cojons!
