Hi.
My brothers going to be graduating from high school next year and being the lazy slacker that he is he wants to take a year off before going to college. Now, my mom doesn't want him to end up working at the gas station for a year so she's been pestering me to find information about jobs/internships in Spain (he went on a class trip to Spain this spring and liked it). His only real skill is that he's a damn good chef (and is an excellent sushi roller). If you can give me any information about any kind restaurant jobs/internships/whatever in Spain I'd appreciate it. If not, no big deal...

I'm not sure what to say in connection with your post but I didn't want you to not to get an answer from us.

It's perfectly normal your brother liked Spain, this is a nice place to live, and as everyone knows southern spain is better than northern spain (this will help some people to post )

Unfortunately it's not the best play to get a job, unemployment is a big problem around here. In contrast it's a very touristic country so u can find restaurants everywhere.

Furthermore it would be of some help to know where he was exactly in Spain, and his Spanish skill, since English is not widely spoken here.

Perhaps it's a good idea to find a Cooking School...
