I just checked my system, and no virus was found. So who has the last turn right now?

well, I couldn't downloaded because the hotmail virus scan reported a 'virus'.

So send it to sigakid@worldmailer.com as well as hotmail.

You see, if hotmail even thinks there may be a virus, it disables the ability to download the attachment.

I am the one who sends saves to Hogfather (and I jsut did again) so I think I am the one whit the current turn.
I just figured something else out:
If I had a Pc virus I don't think my anti-virus software would tell me about it (or recognise it).
If somehow a virus has gotten into the file somewhere else, I can't stop it.
But I seriously doubt that it has, I saved the file myself and every savefile is essentially treated as a "new" game, right.
If there was a virus in the save file I loaded would it then still be there after creating a new savefile (which I allways do)?

I'm having major problems with my net service, so of I'm not around for a few days, it's because my service is off-line. I still am in the game. I don't know what caused the problem with the saved game.

The Sultan is even now preparing a fleet to oust the Italian dogs from their island strongholds in the Aegean. Cavalry raids continue in Hungary. Investing forces are advancing on Imperial fortresses in Carinthia and lower Austria.

HRH Charles, The Holy Roman Emperor annouces new victories over the god less Turks, as Pressburg continues to hold! "We will never give up sacred Hungary" his majesty stated. In other news, communications seem to have been restored throughout the empire. <>Real world: The save works fine and has been sent to Fiera(Spain).

I played my turn this afternoon and sent it to Henrik. I couldn't post here before, nor do I have much time right now, but all I will say is...

Christopher Columbus has returned!!! He has brought back some jewelry and some slaves, and the promise to find a route to the Far East.

Thus, the city of Cádiz now has "Voyages of Dicovery": two extra ship movement for me!!!

(In character) Bah! This supposed "new world" will never replace the spice trade monopoly enjoyed by the Turks. Everyone knows that the Mediterranean is the place to be.

The general buildup of the french infrastructure is entering its first phase.
Otherwise all is well in France.

Yes, but thanks to some scenario creator , I now have extended ship movement all over the Mediterranean... Are you still looking forward to Lepanto, infidel?

BTW, where's the game now? Is there any problem?

British industries continue to grow and money continues to amass in the coffers as traders depart from the isles east and west to establish new trade routes that will enrich the great Kingdom of England.

As to the military, English forces in Ireland suffered a crushing defeat during the siege of Dublin as the siege proved too long and the walls of Dublin unscalable. The Queen has ordered for the heathen Irish to be left alone to suffer their own destiny... at least for the time being.

The forces of the Sultan have now invested the border fortresses of the Franks. Probing cavalry raids have revealed new strength in Carinthia and Lower Austria. Powerful Turkish armies are even now marching northward. The fleet units of the Sublime Porte have blockaded and are preparing the first assaults on the Aegean isles held by the Venetians and Genoans.

HRH Charles hae annouced today that the Godless Turks have conspired with the devil himself, and have produced weapons that shoot hellfire at our brave Christian forces. "We will resist with all our power, for god is on our side" his Majesty has said. Once again, the Emperor calls on all Christian States to end their difficulties with one another, and unite in a new holy crusade against the hated Turks. We shall not lose Pressburg! Long live the Hapsburgs! <>Save sent to Fiera (Spain).
