Queen Elizabeth I Regina over the Kingdom of England has with great speed and goodwill forwarded the save to the Ottoman Emperor.

OOC: Henrik, what was it you send me besides the *.net save? I can't open or execute it anywhere.

          Ok, just to make certain I've got this correct;

          1.) Run the Civ2 program.

2.) Now, is it "Load a game," or "Multiplayer game"?

3.) Click on the saved game.

4.) The game will come up at the end of the last player's turn.

5.) End that turn, so that the next (Turkish) turn will come up.

          6.) Play my turn.

7.) Don't end my turn, but save the game as a .net file

8.) Send the .net file via email to the next player.

Is this correct? Am I leaving anything out? As soon as I'm sure this is the right procedure, I'll play my turn and send it along.

We might just win Lepanto this time,
          Exile

Exile, when we made our first attempt to play a PBEM game, dizepam came up with a complete explanation for us first-timers. Check it out here:

Strange, I tried posting in this tread when I was in school. It didn't work, all I got was this strange empty post. Then I posted again and suddenly a lot of posts above my empty one (and the empty post itself) dissapeard.
                What happened?
Also when I went to the Forum main page it looked like a lot of the Forums (including the comunity and the civ3 forums) appeared as totaly empty

If you don't belevie me look at the amount of posts this thread is supposed to have and then count the actual number of posts, really strange!

As I tried to say when I was at school but wasn't able to due to a strange error (read above):
That is my netxcape "Business card" it is automaticaly included in every mail I write and if you use Netscape or Outlook as your mailclient you can just click on it to add me to your adress list (there will be a button at the end of the mai saying "add to adress book"). Just ignore it, I keep forgetting it exists

Never fear, Exile. I have gotten and played turn 2, and sent it to Spain. Two things guys: I will be away from Friday to Sunday night, so we have to take a mini-break in the game then. Sorry to inconvience you dudes, but I promised a certain little guy (my son ), a little vacation, and that's one promise that will never be broken. The second thing is: starting 3/30/01 my e-mail will be cpoulos@visto.com. Again sorry to break the game, but I will be back Sunday night and will play my turn first thing.

The wise and mighty Don Juan de Austria has already moved his troops, and now it's the King of France turn.

The evil and treacherous King of Granada, with help of his allies the Berberian Kings, raised a galliot fleet seeking to take control of the Gibraltar Strait. My galleons sank the enemy fleet mercilessly, as they'll do with anyone trying to challenge my lordship over the Strait.

                      Yo, el Rey.

I guess it would be apropriate to tell when you have negotiated whit a human player though, if people don't know about a treaty they have whit someone we are going to have a problem...
And what if you succesfully negotiate a peace whit someone who isnt about to let you of that easy?
I see a problem here, human negotiations will be hard...
Negotiating whit the AI is another thing though, I love helping the Berbers agains't their enemies (since I am not their enemies ), they are able to build Janisaries, right? If not then my help to them was in vain
