I seem to make the stupidest spelling errors in the simplest words. They are usually funny, though that is unintened. Colonies II will be the game, just to make it clear.

Ok, so the Dutch it is. When will this game start up? It's a pbem, right? Chris, just let me know when you're ready to try the Verne thing; we can begin anytime, I just need to go fix some coffee. I take it you received the turn 11 Modern Age? If this message is all over the place, it's because I was up all night. Now going on 30+ hours without sleep. Hoo boy! hallucinations can be fun.

edit; actually, the word "Iroquois" is plural, so you would need to say they are nearest, or, to be even more precise, because we are speaking of the past, the past tense should be used. So the phrase would be "they were nearest." Yadadadadadadada

Beddraggled, (if it's not a word, it is now)

The game will start when the last slots are filled. The Sioux player will have to go first. I just checked my mail, and the save is there, so I will play it and send it along. I need about an hour to start the verne thing, as I haven't eaten, and I have to put the little guy to bed, and he has to have his story. In honor of the game, I think it will be Captain John Smith.

Amerindians are for sure the weakest civs to play with. Considering these and other factors I pick the Lakota...hmm sorry, Sioux

Now I remember that the Aztecs were in Colonies I. Why do not we play that one instead (not being serious here, just kidding)

Of course this means that you will begin the scenario, Jay Bee. We only need the last two slots to be filled to begin. When we are ready, begin another 'history' thread, and we can chronicle the game, as we are doing with Modern Era. I also agree with Jay Bee, normal production, and with Kindal, full diplomatic access for all. All that remains is difficulty level. I'm not a fan of the higher levels, and it would make it really hard for the native tribes if it is on the higher levels, so I suggest we play at Prince. Let's enjoy the game, not fight the system.

Prince is fine with me too. Just a picky note. The scenario has to be started by the protagonist civ (assuming of course there is one, which I believe it's the case). I very much doubt the Sioux fill in these shoes.

Very possible, but I have never played it. I only posted the listed turn order.

Ooops, I forgot to say which scenario I prefer
It doesnt matter for me, my problems whit collonies III are mainly about the graphics (but there are other stuff too).

I have to download Colonies II. I handled the start of the 'Modern Era' one, and since it seems to be working, I'll do it again here. I also claim Britain as my civ chioce. Post your civ chioce and e-mail address in the thread, and I will set it up. First come first serve. I don't have the time or patience to worry about who controls what. If your really unhappy with the civ you get, we can talk about it. So get posting, boys, the line forms here.[*]Britain cpoulos, cpoulos@visto.com[*]France Henrik, henrik.lohmander@telia.com[*]Spain Kindal, indalito@yahoo.com[*]Souix Jay Bee, spanish@apolyton.net[*]United Provinces Exile, exile1957@aol.com[*]Iroqious Hogfather, m_carreras@hotmail.com[*]Huron Shaka Naldur, miguelsana@juno.com

                          I want France.
My first choise would have been England (not brittain in the 1600's ) but that is allready taken
Isnt this way of picking civs a bit unfair?
what about those people who has modems (and therefore is restricted in thier time online) say one of them just visited this forum before you posted and wont connect again untill tomorow.
I dont know of any better system though (possibly rolling a dice over civs that more than one person wants)
