  • Your favourite Asterix-Album

Quite simple question, which one is your favourie Asterix-episode? I personally like "Asterixe chez Rahazade" (the one in which they travel to India) best, but actually I can't really say that... I like so many. The new one isn't bad either, a lot better than the last one.

I think it is better to name favourite episodes, that is pretty hard too, one of my favourites is the one where they "rent" a fish...
There are ofcourse lots of others

Somehow I have a feeling that Asterix in Hispania is going to be very popular around here
I like that album to though

So, the latest album is already out? Gotta get it asap!

My favorite albums are: in Hispania (what a surprise, uh, Henrik? , in America (le grande voyage), in Britain, in Helvetia... well, actually I like them all.

Fiera: not to have read all Asterix comicbooks is punishable by death. Go to El Corte Ingles or Vips and buy them all!

I must acknowledge that I was considering for a long time to write an asterix scenario for Civ2. Finally I discarded it for several reasons, the most important being that I couldn't think of a meaningful storyline.

My favourites are, in the sense of most funny, Astérix Légionnaire and Le Combat des Chefs.
            A. en Corse and A. en Hispanie were very good too, as well as A. chez les Bretons, La Grande Traversée.

Least fun I think are the last two, and I heard quite bad criticism on the newest album, that just came out.

An Astérix scenario? Will never work, though it would be especially graphically very interesting. Maybe ask Uderzo himself to do it?

Well, "La Galere d'Obelix" was indeed a bit dissapointing, if only because the end just contained no new ideas and little logic (why did the tribune turn into stone after having drunk only one barrel while Obelix turned into stone after having drunk two? Why did Obelix simply grow?). I can't remember "La rose et le glaive" because I haven't read that one for a long time. But the new one is good. Not the best, but very enjoyable (if only because the German translation works very well).
I've given it a bit more thought, and came up with a couple of more favourites: the gladiator episode, "La grande traversee", Asterix legionnaire", "Asterix et les goths" and "L'odysee d'Asterix" (Which is the only book which carries the abel "Asterix and Obelix" here). But I must admit I haven't read them all.

That's in "The home of the Gods", isn't it? A really funny album...

I also love "Asterix in Hispania" (the druids processions always make me laugh ), and "Asterix the Legionnaire". However, Imust reckon that there are lots of Asterix albums Ihaven't read...

I am proud to say that I have read them all except Obélix's Galley.

I love them all, can't really say I have a real favorite. But I think that Asterix in Corsica is good...

"You are highly susceptible, little one." Right?

And "The 12 Tasks of Asterix" rocks... i got the film...

I just read in El Pais on-line that Asterix & Traviata has been released today in Spain! Anybody got it already?

Not bad "Asterix and Latraviata". Not bad at all (I mean, if one compares it to the two previous ones . Obelodalix cracks me up. Anyone read it too?
