      I love the Don Pelayo one!

      However, I don't quite agree with the word "chieftain"... It seems that he was a Visigoth Count, in charge of the Northern region of Hispania, and he ascended to the throne after the muslim conquest, thus giving continuance (sp?) to the Visigoth Monarchy, and starting, at the same time, the Asturian Monarchy...
