A hand out photograph dated May 21, 1941 and received on January 17, 2004 from the Aerial Reconnaissance Archives (TARA) at Keele University in north west England, shows the German battleship the Bismarck in a Norwegian Fjord during World War Two. The image, which led within seven days to the sinking of the vessel, is one of more than five million RAF (Royal Air Force) aerial photographs used by Allied commanders to help devise their strategy during the six-year conflict, due to be made publicly available on the internet on Monday.
