                    lets just go with the standard scenario from downloadable from the spanish site.

                    with regards to the railroad issue. i would like to disable railroads.

                    how is this handled in pbem games?

                        I uploaded the last version to the Spanish Site six months ago. I don't know if the civfanatics version is older.

                          I believe there shouldnt be any difference (just to be safe I'd let everyone dl the one from the spanish page though).

                          What we've been discussing doing in the original AoW pbem about the rails, is to remove them all manually with cheatmode (a pain I know, but a lot easier for you guys who are just getting started and therefore has less rails to remove). And instead make the normal road multiplier 8, 9 or 10 to speed up things.
