The section of the Argentinian military that was in Columbia has withdrawn, leaving it all for Venezuela. Some of the troops have landed (semi-secretly) in Costa Rica and are supporting rebel campesino groups opposed to both the American takeover and the newly elected president Ascencion Esquivel. The rest are either staying on transports off the coast of Peru (and are heavily guarded by warships) or in Guatemala, where they are supporting rebels and have successfully engineered an assassination of president Manuel Cabrera.


After continuing insurrections in Panama, an agreement has been reached. Paraguay is now a semi-autonomouus Republic, like Chile.
