BTW, El Aw, those soldiers look like they're made by Alex the Magnificient, but I don't think he's made scenario about WW1 (or that period.) Where'd you get them?

The interchangeability of matter and spirit means the starlit magic of the outermost life of our universe becomes the soul-light magic of the innermost life of our self." - Dennis Kucinich, candidate for the U. S. presidency

Great mapmaking! Now here comes finally some competition for all those boring As and Fs and circles and squares (no offense, Ruffy)

Scott F, I made an Imperial times scenario and he sent me some gifs he had made for his scenario based on the Turtledove books.

Those are some wonderful icons. The scenario sounds like a lot of fun (read the books). Almost makes me wish I had Civ:MGE instead of Civ:TOT. You know, with the right amount of tweaking, a balanced Axis and Allies game could be made off of Turtledove's series.

Anyway, I wish I could get some small enough icons and still be recognizable on the Imperial & 20th Century maps. Europe is just way too small.

I tried something similar on the first Imperial map, but it was hard to tell what country they belonged to.

If anyone has any suggestions on more impressive icons, let me hear them. Otherwise I'll have to stick to the "traditional" boxes and rectangles for armies and fleets in my next variant.
