Spring 272 B.C Moves ( Let the battles begin )
Spring brought with it the sounds of armies on the march and war fleets setting sail. Carthage and Egypt fought battles on both land and sea, early reports from the battles show Hannibal's forces holding a slight advantage but Ptolemai's forces are poised to strike back. Also Alexander Ruffy's Macedonian navy probed the Syrian coastal defenses at Pergamum but were repelled. The only empire unscathed so far has been Rome, but the Winds of War seem to be in Ceasar's future.
