I'm for 2.51 as well of course, though as a minor note Ingria was already a canal zone in 2.5 (as in, fleets built in Novgorod could move to it and then into GoB- otherwise Russia would have had no Baltic fleets, which would be pretty bad).
Of course, since you can set up new places to build units in Royale, that's not such a big issue.

In any case, we should figure out which version of 1600 we're using. For Saxony, we used a modified version of the 2.5 map. This is the original 2.5 Map (it's now called 2.8 for some reason, but it's 2.5 anyway):
This is the modified 2.51 map:
The modifications lie mostly in the Scandinavian provinces:
1. W.Go was deleted and Ostlandet and Scanlandia were moved to border each other. This effectively deleted any western coast that Sweden might have.
2. Zealand was expanded to border Scanlandia, meaning that Kattegat and the Strait of Bothina were separated.
3. Holstein was replaced with Schleswig and North Friesland to remove a bottleneck when invading Denmark.
4. A canal was built through Ingria to connect Novogorod with the Gulf of Bothina.
5. Another canal was drawn to clear up the confusion that Bernstadt was indeed a coastal province.
6. West and East Hungary were renamed to Budapest and Vojvodina, respectively.
I think that's about it. What do you think?

How about Styria? That has a nice ring to it. I thought about "The Concert of Europe" as the new title but that's a bit off the beaten track. Styria, I like it. Makes me think of Slytherin. Go Gryffindor! Go Hufflepuff! Go Ravenclaw!

Westphalia and Mecklenburg are too much of a mouthful. Hesse is a bit too short, but works, I suppose. My votes would be for Silesia, which as we all know was a pretty important province in history, or Tuscany, which while not German certainly is an interesting province and rolls off the tounge pretty well too.
And oh yes, one extra restriction: you can't play the same country you played in Saxony. So no Sweden for me.

Guest repliedBaden?
Bayern?
Brandenburg?
How about Bayern Munchen in honor of the soon to be European Champions?
LS has some neat ideas too. Saxony II would be fine with me, but I guess I'm not all that picky.

I vote for game of Royale on 1600, named after a German province which will prove a key battleground in the mid to late game
