  • Diplomacy Newbie

So what does a guy have to do round here to get onto a game...?

I've played the boardgame many years ago and am familiar with the rules.

I am reliable and will continue to play a game, even in a hopeless position...

I am currently playing several PBEM games in the CtP Forum and favour the diplomacy side of things in those games - you'll find the posts in the threads are only the tip of the iceberg with relation to the 'behind the scenes' negotiations...

I'll also be happy to take over a country in a current game...

    hehehehe...fresh meat.

Alright, here is the deal. We have a need for replacements in Civilization Dip:

I am not sure if there are other positions open as of yet. If there are then someone will find you.

    Regards and good luck.

We have a newbie game that is only three turns old. Defiant, who is not exactly a newbie, stepped in as the seventh player when we lacked one. He plays Italy. Defiant said before he would make room for another newbie if and when one arrives. Now could that be something for you?

          MOBIUS,
You can have Italy in the Newbie game, I just picked it up so the guys could get started. You would have Italy and you are in good position, I can tell you my plans or you can make your own, doesn't matter. Just answer here if you would like it, and good luck.

France is also open in Mayhem Diplomacy. It's on the Modern map, and if you're as good a dipper as you say you are then maybe you can turn things around for the poor Frenchies.

Check the "Mayhem Diplomacy Fall 2004" thread

France is still open in Civ Dip.... Its still a relatively good position now, and it can be playable. Could I entice you into joining, thus managing to get a full set of players in the game?

Sure if that's OK by him...!

when you officially take over Italy in "Newbie", tell me so. The game email is:

all press concerning this game must be directed there.

All other rules of this game you can find in the "Newbie starts" thread here on Apolyton.

                            Welcome to the game.

Italy and Austria are very good allies.
