reismark: Yes, I know there are only 6 people listed, Meef dropped.
Also, it seems we can cancel the fight to the death between Iain & Boshko. Monk as we all know is a superior player, and certainly worthy of being on Squad I... Iain has graciously agreed to step down.
Okay, prefs so far:
SF: None
LS1: EGF
Berzerker: TFIGREA
RUFFHAUS: ???

So RUFFHAUS- do you want to be an Italian or a Russian?
Edit: Thanks, Victor.

All syllogisms have three parts.
Therefore this is not a syllogism.
Can I make "Apolyton, Apolyton, rah, rah, rah!" topic now? Can I? Can I?
Also, if we are going to have forum of our own, shouldn't it be like in Sidgames, ie only enterable with password? We might need separate forum for it...
Boshky-woshky: Well, I already had prefs for Russia, but if you insist, I'm ready to take France...

LS1: Good idea with the topped threads in S&D. Unfortunately any opponent who knows where Apolyton is will be able to read all of our thoughts on the game. We'll have to ask MarkG for permitted-access only threads, or else just a permitted-access only forum.
Oh, and by the way: there is a brag board up at WM 2000. DO NOT POST THERE, unless somebody insults Apolyton, in which case you're fully free to defend our honor. But we do not want incidents like last year where some people were going hyping ourselves up before we did anything. We'll get way more respect if we actually win some stuff in the tourney first, then brag in later years once we actually have a rep.

That's correct Snowfire, lets adopt the "Walk softly but carry a big stick" perssona. Let the big stick be the wins or excellent gaming in the tournament.
Lets always remember the passangers on United Flight 93, true heroes in every sense of the word!

Coug is the only one yet to submit preferences... so he gets the short straw for the moment. When he does, I think there may be a big scrap to avoid the Big Red Machine. Any queries, first look at the preferences given a few posts back before you complain
Well, with a private forum, we could have a thread for every single game we are playing in. 14, for 2 teams, and then 3 more threads for the team discussions, then 1 general thread. So that's 18 total.

human can be alien to me.

LS1: Ahhhh! You really want to make us go through 18 threads to get updates? A simple post in one of two main threads for the team should be plenty. And in replys, we can reply to 3 different games quickly and relevantly in one thread, instead of having to check 4 differnet threads and post 3 replies.
Anyway, it looks like a private forum is the only option from what MarkG said- is that acceptable?
