Sorry I missed my last budget. I got confused about game time. I have 100,000 regulars that just came into service (ordered on Monday, 2 days later) This will be the 10th, 11th, 12th, 13th, and 14th Corps.
The 10th Will be in London, and will join the 1st Corps in the Kings Own Army, which will be under the command of George II.
Amherst will transfer to Hannover and take command of the 9th Corps. The 11th through 14th Corps will be formed into the First British Expeditionary Army under the command of Clive. Movement will be posted later today. I will wait for BT to tell me when my ships will be finished, before I add those to my force strength.

OOC - Yes bur IRL over 75% of the Belgian population is Catholic. And that my firend is why the Dutch never kept Belgium in their nation. Because the Belgians did not want a Protestant monarch.

The II, IX, and XII are moving out of Trieste toward an unknown location. Meanwhile Kaiser Francis has declared war on the Kingdom of Poland in accordance to our alliance with Prussia. The XVI Corps is moving to meet the Polish IV Corps in Galicia.

The Belgian militias in the Austrian Netherlands are digging in to fortify themselves. Their morale has been renewed knowing that they are fighting for a Catholic and not a Protestant nation. Priests are making tours of the trenches in attempts to keep spirits up until help arrives.

Meanwhile in Venice the 19,000 Austrian troops have stopped. The reason is exaggerated Venetian numbrrs which has made some of our soldiers nervous. However Field Marhsal Browne is assuring everyone that teheir is nothing to fear.

SURPRISE ATTACK ON AUSTRIAN FORCES

Corps XXXVI-XXXVIII & Corps XIV, under command of Maurice of Savoy have attacked Namur.

The 40,000 troops surprised the 1,000 militia.
Probing the outlying city is occuring, and the forces will envelop the city with XXXVIII and XIV on the flank.

In the mean time, French corps at the southeast border prepare for defense of a possible Austrian attack.

Our southern fleet has reached the bay between Italy and Greece and our blockade has been established on the Austrians.

If the battle between our 40,000 regulars and their 1,000 militia is successful, Belgium will be property of Franco-Dutch powers.

France will keep hold of Liege permanently now, as discussed with the Netherlands for aiding them in their conquest.

Our remaining Corps in Belgium have fortified themselves in Liege and the surrounding forests. Any attack on Liege by the Austrians would be useless and futile.

To the honored rulers of France and Holland,

Greetings from his Imperial Austrian Majesty Kaiser Francis I. Seeings as you are both very stubborn in pressing this attack we have a solution. The Dutch are a Protestant people and the Belgians are a Catholic one. As we Austrians are also Catholic we think it would be much better for us to continue ruling them. However seeings that the Dutch seem hellbent on controlling them for whatever reason we must propose a joint control of the Austrian Netherlands. We are willing to fill in the exact specifications later. What say you?

TO THE SENSABLE LEADER OF AUSTRIA:

Hello. I see you are tired of this as well. France will hold control of Liege as their part. Liege, both the city and territory it is in, are mostly catholic people. The Netherlands and I have talked things over. The Netherlands will hold the cities/provinces of Brussels and Antwerp. You will hold the city and province of Namur. One condition is this: you must never have any force in Namur. If a regular is spoted in the territory, you will be looked down upon and this will happen again. Same goes for any type of military soldier, militia, etc.

The Netherlands confirm this agreement, and the declaration of war on Austria has been retracted. The regulars being called up, known as the IV Corps, will return home to their wives and children. Flanders is being welcomed into the Netherlands, and the provinces of Brabant, Vlaanderen and Limburg will have the same rights as the northern provinces. A new budget and further plans will be presented in the near future.

BT: The battle you posted shouldn't have happened, if Hesse gets new troops then I would too. Therefore, since you would have posted they were in Duchies and now evenly number me, I would have obviously added more troops to my assault. So repost the battle with the new numbers in this post.

Spartan: Romagna is open land...they have no army. Feel free to march in and take Ancona.

As for budgets, I'm doing one every 2 days.
