I would like to learn, starting with the common software needed to make maps, how to acquire it and step by step instructions for us laymen so we can help out the mighty mapmakers. We could start with a common map, an easy one, once a few of us learn it would take tremendous pressure off the guys who always have to help us map cripples all the time.
