THE GREAT INTERNATIONAL KILL BILL CAMPAIGN BEGINS:

With the forces having arrived across the Atlantic, an international military force today in the CW, landing in South Amboy, New Jersey, to cheering crowds, all happy that the Demesos was in it's final days. This was after,of course, the CW Airforce, as well as 1/4 of the CRME airforce, which had arrived in the Demesos earlier, had cleared out Staten Island beach of artillery, as well as destorying For Tilden. Combat began quickly, with 8 divisions moving into Staten Island, which had largley been depopulated due to fleeing refugees. The Demesos, largely outnumbered on this Island, were pushed back due to the fact they here were severly outnumbered, and the massive Artillery fire hitting the Island, and soon the Island was captured by Kill Bill Forces. With this done, Anti-Demesos Forces then landed on Kings County, again after the beach had been cleared. Under cover of artillery fire and the advance of tanks, the troops moved North until Brooklyn was reached, where Demesos To get that city to fall, Saturation Bombing was used to spare the excesses of Urban Warfare, atfer Smart Bombs and Wild Weasel Maneuvers had been used to clear the City of serious resistance. And soon Kings County was under Kill Bill Control. Meanwhile in Northern New Jersey, Simultaneous invasions of Rockland, Westchester, and Bronx counties were launched, using similar tactics as was used before. Though many of the citizens had guns, they were no match for the Chobham Armor of the Kill Bill Forces, and similar tactics that were used in the Battle of Brooklyn were used in the Battle of the Bronx, and those Counties were captured by the Kill Bill Forces. Then the Navy moved into place. The Demesos, recently been born of a revolution had no real navy, and the CW Navy, along with international support, began blockading Manhattan Island, and soon Manhattan itself becam the victim of heavy Saturation bombing. At this point however, the same thing that happened to British at the decisive Battle of Yorktown happened to the Demesos here. The City of Manahattan was completley sorrudned by allsides on land, sea, and air, with the city being bombed heavily, all supply routes were cut. And as had happened to British troops at the Battle of Yorktown, the Demesos forces on Manhattan were forced to surrender. With Manhattan Gone, the Kill Bill Forces were also able to Move Northeast, and Queens fell to Kill Bill Control. And while this was happening, pro-Demesos forces were attempting guerilla warfare in the areas that were captured. However, veteran though they were, they were going up against the best of the best in terms of anti-guerilla warfare fighters. Germans who had fought against the Poles and Scandanaivans previously, Turks who fught against Kurdish rebels, Israeli who fought against the Hezbollah, etc, etc, the Demesos Guerillas were no match and are falling en masse to Kill Bill Forces. And the areas captured were areas indeed under Kill Bill Control. The Other major Story happening was the large exodus of UDSA refugees. into Canada and the CW. With a Large Scale Blockade of the UDSA coastline underway, and with bombing, and with the almost inevitable Demesos defeat, many citizens were fleeing as fast as they can out of the Demesos before they end up in a warzone. To alleviate the suffering, the Conservative Republic of the Middle East has offered to take in any refugees from the Demesos into the CRME.

Hawk's Claw has commenced Operation Swift!

...it was a quiet night until rockets left the hulls of German and Chinese submarines. These missiles were aimed specifically at the government institutions in Rhode Island.

The first vessels of Hawk's Claw had reached Narragansett, making sure not to damage the ports. A second contingent had attacked through Newport, quickly capturing that port. These attacks alerted demesos forces, but they had little time to prepare. As soon as the ports were taken, tankers and other large transport ships started landing and moving upward. They used the highways to their great advantage. With the ports secure, a steady flow of troops could move through until all of Hawk's Claw had disembarked. With that Hawk's Claw's second marine contingent then moved up the Providence River until in the city. The first target was the Providence Place Mall, which was easily taken as the main forces there were shoppers. From there Hawk's Claw went for the train station. The train station was only one story and very undefensible, so demesos forces did the smart thing and retreated. From there it was a race to the hills of the east side. Demesos forces were mainly mechnized in only civilians vehicles whereas Imperial troops had tanks and APCs. North Main St. was bypassed and troops were heading towards Hope St. Hope St. was secured fairly easily and Hawk's Claw had surrounded the demesos forces who had to fight their way uphill to reach the positions the Hawk's Claw were fortified on. The second force of Imperial Marshal Chin's forces went to Federal Hill, easily taking the ruins that were left of it after cruise missile bombardments. Two regiments of infantry then came upon Classical High School. This school was easily converted into a fort as trenches could be easily dug in the three baseball and one football field. The next high schools to be taken were Central and then Hope High. Hope High School was taken easily because Hawk's Claw forces came from Thayer St. easily cutting them off from escape and could rain fire from Hope St. at a high elevation. Demesos forces were driven out. Next on the list was Nathanael Greene Middle School. This biulding was taken through an air assault with Imperial paratroopers coming out of CW transport planes. The roof was easily secured by the pool and the platoon worked their way down. Another company moved in from the main entrance with squads at each of the six side entrances and a platoon at each of the direct entrances into the basement. Surprisingly, all these forces weren't needed as Marc Catone, a leader of the Italian mafia in the region, had already thrown his support behind the Imperial forces as Imperial Marshal Chin was his best pupil years earlier. Martin Luther King Jr. elementary school was then fought over. By this time, demesos forces had organized that school into a resistance headquarters and their vanguard in their advance on Hope St. Unfortunately, thier headquarters could be easily bombarded from positions on Camp St. as the school is in a lower elevation. Demesos troops then smartly retreated from that region. Troops from the Providence expedition and the Newport/Narragansett expeditions finally linked up on Route 95. This highway was very helpful in transporting Imperial forces as the demesos had not had time to destroy it. Providence later fell that week, and the next goal was to secure all of Rhode Island. This task wasn't hard as the proverbial head of the serpent had been cut off and the citizens of the demesos who had lived in tyranny for so long welcomed their liberators. All of Rhode Island was later secured after urban warfare was put down. Hawk's Claw was very well prepared for Urban warfare as the Imperial Marshal Chin himself had lived there for a time when he was young and so he knew the streets and how they could be used to their advantage. Imperial Marshal Chin then gave the order for all forces to hold and offer an ultimatum to the UDSA which was authorized by the Emperor himself. The ultimatum was that the UDSA must admit how they lied about the Waterbury Massacare in order to gain public support and how the tyrannical governemnt had killed their own citizens. Rhode Island is to stay a territory of Imperial Great China and offer a haven of freedom in a sea of demesos. Armor and infantry (mostly infantry) were re-fortifying the state as well as the outskirts. This was done so that there would be no further incursions by the demesos. The Emperor has also issued a decree to the peoples of Rhode Island saying that they could be made full citizens of the Empire and thier state given colonial status if they wished. And also that all demesos citizens who were tired of their governemnt's lies were welcome to Rhode Island. Rhode Island is truly the Rogue State once more, a haven of freedom.

Stuff that you do not know about:
German technicians and engineers have been sent to the old Soviet anti-satellite and anti-missile laser facility at Dushanbe, in the Chinese province of Tajikistan. These technicians will assist the Chinese in repairing and updating the facility. The Dushanbe facility houses a series of lasers capable of rendering any satellite in earth orbit useless. The Germans have obtained copies of the plans and schematics for the facility and its systems and construction shall begin on two such facilities, one in German Africa, the other in Germany proper.

In the Southwestern Atlantic Ocean and Southeastern Pacific Ocean:
Four of Germany's upgraded and modified Los Angeles-class hunter-killer submarines made quick work of Argentina's three submarines, each of which was built by the Germans. The Argentinean submarines contained transponders placed by the Germans who built her. The transponders betrayed the submarines' locations to the German hunter-killers. The Chilean submarine force, which consisted entirely of four submarines, two built by the Germans, which were easy to find and destroy, and two built by the British, which were more difficult to find but were destroyed nonetheless. The two rogue South American nations had lost their submarine forces.

The German submarines, under orders to avoid all enemy warships, launched cruise missile attacks on critical targets within Chile and Argentina. Communications relays, radar emplacements, SAM batteries, power plants, military bunkers, and even some air fields were hit by the German Tomahawk cruise missile attacks. By the time the cruise missile barrage stopped, The telephone and radio systems in Argentina and Chile were silent, both nations had lost electricity, and they had no remaining radar emplacements. Many of the Chilean and Argentinean SAM batteries had been wiped out, several commander bunkers had been destroyed, and even one air field had been attacked. As a result of the German missile barrage, the Chileans and Argentineans lost their ability to prevent the Peruvians and Brazilians from beginning to bomb and attack their nations with impunity. Some rumors spoke of several of the bunker and communications attacks having been done with smart bombs. Many dismissed this, however, as no airplanes had been spotted in the area. Some in the Argentinean military have suggested that the Germans may have sortied several stealth bombers to attack them from Venezuela, but these suggestions were dismissed, after all, no planes were sighted in the areas of the attacks...

For Argentina and Chile the situation has taken a strange turn. Since the beginning of the Peruvian and Brazilian attacks, no merchant ships have entered any of their ports. The Chilean and Argentinean coast guards and navies have reported spotting debris and picking up survivors from many merchantmen that were scheduled to deliver them goods. Several German Oscar-class submarines are rumored to be lurking in the area, along with the Los-Angeles hunter-killers. The Chilean and Argentinean navies have not yet sent any of their large warships to sea, for fear that they might be sunk by the enemy. Fear has gripped the navies of Chile and Argentina. An unknown number of advanced enemy submarines lurks off of their coastline. These submarines are quiet enough to go undetected by their forces and will only be detected after launching weapons, and by then it would be too late...

Most of the German submarines in the area have returned to Venezuelan ports to reload their weapon supplies. Several submarines remain to continue the blockade and destroy the Argentinean and Chilean Navies if necessary.

In the Atlantic Ocean off of Demesos New England:
German Los Angeles-class attack submarines launched a barrage of cruise missiles against strategic targets under Demesos control. Radar emplacements, SAM batteries, communications and electrical relays, and power plants were all targeted. As the attacks stopped, New England was in the dark and had lost its radar stations. Many SAM batteries had been targeted, though a nearly equal number had survived. Again there were rumors of stealth bomber attacks flown out of German Venezuela, but there had been no real proof, aside from evidence that most of the power plants wee attacked with smart and cluster bombs, rather than cruise missiles...

For the first time since the American Revolutionary War, German soldiers set foot on American soil. German troops began to advance along with the forces of the Anti-Demesos League. German paratroops acted as forward support and German commandos sowed havoc behind enemy lines. The German empire had committed two veteran and battle-hardened divisions, one infantry and one armored, to the area and several commando teams. One regiment of paratroops and an entire wing of Eurofighter Typhoons had also been dispatched. The inhabitants of New England soon came to realize why there was good reason to fear Krauts with guns.

London was beginning to resemble a battleground. Smoke from bombs hung in the air, and Royal Marines patrol the streets on foot and in massive apcs. The British people were outraged by all this. At first they blamed Sigma Draconis and a mob was forming when the city was rocked by yet another bomb. The people then realized that the governemt was not to blame, in fact it had done everything it could to avoid this. No, the Irish government was to blame for supporting and sending the terrorists in the first place. Popular support was toppling the anti-brit regime was growing, with more radical elements advocating the use of nuclear weapons to remove the irish threat.

Over Ireland Tornado GR3's reverted the their anti-airfield role which they had performed so admirably in the persian gulf war. Flying in low at nearly supersonic speeds the aircraft sent hundreds of little bomblets hurtling into the runways. Some of the bomblets created massive craters in the airfields making it impossible for any aircraft to use them excepting helos and harriers. The former would be easily shot down by the Eurofighter screen and ireland had none of the latter. But most of the bomblets delivered by the tornados were anti-personnel mines designed to make repairing the runways damn near impossible. By the end of the week, only two airports or airfields in Ireland were still operational and one of those was hit by a B-1UK raid soon afterwards. The tornados flew too fast for the german suplied Stinger missiles to be successful as the operators did not have enough time to lock on to and fire at the aircraft before it was out of range.

A raid by 5 Nimrod aircraft carring harpoon missiles destroyed or damaged the bulk of the irish navy.

The CW 1st Shock army with its specialized anti-terrorist abilities has been deployed to many of englands largest city, but the troops have been concentrated on London. Combined with recently deployed elements of the SAS and SBS, London will now be a much harder city to terrorize as it is crawling with Elite troops trained in counter-insurgency.

Construction of first XR-33 testbed begins in an unspecified location in the CW.

We wish to acquire your Delta Force units to keep the peace in London. As they are the best anti-terrorist unit in the world, they will be of great help to us.

Your aid would be excellent but cannot be used at this time. London is as yet too dangerous for red cross officials to wander about as they would surely be targeted by the terrorists. We would be grateful to recieve when all this has ended.

The Royal Engineers today finished setting explosive charges on the Chunnel linking England to mainland Europe. The chunnel can now completly destroyed within a moments notice. The whole plan has been dubbed Contingency Epsilon.

The remaining new SAMs are firing at any and all British 'planes. Despite the bombing, the spirit of the Irish people remains strong, and faith guides the missile's aim. Pilots dare not fly over the Dublin mountains now, and those who don't will always find themselves within shooting distance of a soldier with a stinger.

Sante Fe came into sight. The pilot stooped low and went slower, counting the Argentinian army. Not that many there he said, then he was shot down.

The Brazilian force came under fire early this evening. The casualties mounted as the tanks came up front and mauled the poorly armed enemy. Bombs, grenades, mortars, artilley rounds, and guns went off all over. It took maybe 3 hours for the Brazilian army to rout the Argentinian force. That 3 hours came with blood though. Even though the tanks flanking the enemy reduced casualties, they still hurt.

As the men went on to Rosario, attack aircraft leading the way along with the considerable force of tanks not dispatched to conquer the Northern country. A total of 350,000 Brazilians would go up against a force of maybe 100,000 Argentinians. But that wont happen until the enemy is completely surrounded, about 4 days of bombardment...
