All of Mogadishu has been placed under control of Greater Arabian forces now, and although there is still considerable unrest in several parts of the city. Still, most of the forces have moved southwards and westwards to help the Ethiopians secure the last few parts of Somalia north of the Jubba not yet under Arabian or Ethiopian control. A treaty has been signed with Greater India, which will make Somalia north of the Jubba a province of Greater Arabia, and Somalia south of the Jubba part of India.

Furthermore, King Fahd of Greater Arabia has announced that it has entered the ACA, and as a result Greater Arabia is now fully allied to Germany and India as well. A treaty with India has been signed on the status of Chad, which will effectively mean that the northeast of Chad will become a province of Greater Arabia, and the southwest Indian territory. The exact border is: take the place where the borders of Central Africa, Sudan and Chad meet, and then go straight northwest. All territory NE of that border will be Greater Arabian, and all of Chad SW of it will be Indian. The I Oman Corps and the II Sudan Corps have entered Chad to stabilize the northeast.

Factories in Greater Arabia are still retooling for production of the Tropicalized Chobham Leopard II, which is a modified version of the Leopard II including Chobham armour which is optimalized for warfare in Arabian conditions. Next month, production will begin at a rate of 85 MBT's a month.

Night had cast its shadow over the land. The people were going to bed, or waking up for the night shift. CW military convoys were making their way across the city, and the moon was making its way across the sky. ALso just beside the moon, a bright star was seen to glow. It became steadily brighter as the minutes went by. Suddenly, the light turned into a streak, and then everything went white...

Less than a second after the flash, a fireball rose up from the city. Waves of destruction raced out from the blast with incredible force. Underground, a 50 mile length of the Philadelphia-Chicago Line collapsed and filled with fire. Above ground, a massive crater took form while molten earth glowed red in its center. Outside, the ruins of a great metropolis went up in flames.

The shockwave was felt in Philadelphia where it cracked bridges and roads, broke glass windows and startled millions out of their slumber. Across the entire length of the Commonwealth, millions of people panicked...millions more thoght the british were striking back at the CW for invading Canada. Only a few knew immediately what was going on. Most of those who saw the meteor died as it moved so fast and exploded so violently. By daybreak, all anyone knew for sure was that the city of Dayton was gone, and a massive crater stood in its place.

That night, the preliminary death toll was announced on CNN (Commonwealth News Network) at nearly 500,000 people. Most of those living on Ohio and Kentucky, with a few deaths being reported elsewhere. Immediately the CW moved in to begin the exhaustive cleanup and reconstruction process.

"My fellow citizens, it is with great and utter sadness that i speak to you on this night of March 11th 2001. As most of you now know, the city of Dayton and its surrounding suburbs have been destroyed by a meteor measuring just a few dozen meters across. Even now, the pall of smoke is crossing the nation and beginning its journey across the world to act as a signal for us. It is time that we wake up and make sure another Dayton doesnt happen. It is time we stand up and scream to the universe that we will not be killed with rocks. We will not be killed with the very thing we were born from and return to. We will begin immediately. Starting next month, we will begin construction on the first of many massive launching areas on the east coast. Kitty Hawk North Carolina will be the center of the CW Space Shield Initiative. We will put thousands of new satellites in space which will circle the earth and work to deflect any incoming objects with amazing force. We plan to begin construction on our own space station and shuttle fleet. We are already considering a laser propulsion system to be constructed in Florida and Puerto Rico which will enable us to lift the heavy payloads into space needed for this construction effort, Never again will mere rocks rain down on us. Never again will our citizens be annihilated while they sleep from soace bombardments. We will rise above this sphere and take our rightful and god given place in outer space!!

To Iraniraq: We thank you for acceptig our offer for the forward base on the Indian Ocean...we will be building it east of Meydani. Construction will begin next month and will be completed in six months!! The 150 tanks are en route!!

To CRME: We wish to offer you 150 Abrams Battletanks if you let us build a base either in Israel or in Turkey on the Black Sea. We eagerly await your response!!

To Italy: Seeing the change in leadership recently, we would like to affirm that the alliance still exists between our nations!! We eagerly await your response!!

State-of-the-art weapons have been ordered including 9mm Carbine 1A and 9mm H&K MP-5, 5.56mm INSAS Light Machine Gun, 7.62mm FN MAG, 7.62mm Bren L4, 7.62mm IB, .50 Browning M2HB, 12.7mm NSV and 14.5mm KPV,51mm E1, 81mm E1, 120mm E1 and 120mm AM-50 mortars, 84mm Carl Gustav, 106mm RCL M40,
Milan-II ATGW, AT-3 Sagger ATGW,
AT-4 Spigot ATGW and AT-5 Spandrel ATGW anti-tank weapons, and other weapons that will forever imrpove the Great Indian Army!

These tanks have been ordered:
800 of the unknown tank, recently been labeled as the class Grin-1 Main Battle Tank (MBT) for the first 6 months of when the tank is available, then another 400 in a four month period.

German forces capture Oslo and Stockholm:
After the withdrawal of over two thirds of the remaining Scandinavian Army to fight the Russians, the German Army has advanced northward with little resistance. Opposition is limited to occasional snipers and soldiers left behind with anti-tank missiles. With the Scandinavian Army in chaos and full retreat, German troops entered and occupied the cities of Oslo and Stockholm, the USSR capital. German troops captured the cities after limited resistance in some areas. The surviving remnants of the Scandinavian Army have fled north, leaving scattered destruction in their paths. The Scandinavian withdrawal has been chaotic and unorganized, as a result, many towns, cities, and farms are captured with only moderate damage. The Scandinavian Army has been forced northward quickly and did not have time to execute their government's plans to level Stockholm and Oslo. South of the cities of Trondheim, Ostersund, and Sundsvall, only the city of Bergen has held out with resistance against the German Army. Scattered pockets of resistance remain in some of the more inaccessible regions of Southern Norway. Paratroops have been called in, and these scattered pockets of resistance should soon be eliminated.

In the skies over Scandinavia:
German fighters continued to maul the remnants of the Scandinavian Air Force, but with the assistance of Soviet warplanes, the Scandinavian Air Force has almost ceased to exist as a fighting force. The Germans and Russians now have near total air superiority. Bombing runs against Scandinavian military positions are occurring almost continuously, without interruption.
On the ground:
The German advance has reached the suburbs of Trondheim and Sundsvall. The General Staff has confirmed that the German advance will be proceeding more slowly in the future, so as to consolidate existing gains and eliminate scattered resistance pockets.
In the North and Norwegian Seas:
German soldiers and commando teams, deployed by helicopter, boat, warship, and submarine, are being used to capture Scandinavia's vital oil platforms. Resistance by platform workers and security forces has so far been light. Most of the oil platforms will soon be in German hands.
Elsewhere:
Paratroops and warships have been dispatched to capture the Aland, Jan Mayen, and Svalbard Island groups. Resistance is expected to be minimal.

St. Patrick's day celebration are held - and the General announces the building of new war factories in Dublin.

The campaign in Scandinavia goes well, some soldiers die, but most gain valuable experience. The so-called "Irish Units" started off as the stereotypical "easy pickings" for USSR troops, but quickly they grow into an icon of terror...

The General has sent 20,000 more recruits. The drafting campaign in the Republic goes well, people are still eager to fight. Even women soldiers are now finally joining in their droves.

After a whole weekend discussing the matter within my war council, i will ask you to surrender the islands. They are historically and geographicaly ours. Besides, YOU don't want the same to happen.
in the 1984? war, our forces quickly captured the islands, and it was only the task force you sent which 'liberated' them.
And you could do it due to some CRUSHING mistakes from our side.
