Greater India Siezes South Pakistan

The last battle occured today on the coast of southern Pakistan as bombers flew about, crashing bombs into local military barracks and military infantry regiments. Corps XII marched into the beach and siezed all of the prisoners. Corps XIII-XVI occupied the rest of the beaches and Corps XVII-XX were able to take central Pakistan, with aid from the Greater Indian Airforce.

OOC: I calculated my military allocation from the CIA World Factbook... for a combined budget of $2.767 billion...
I'm going to assume that $1.2 billion of that will be used for upkeep, etc., so I have 1.567 billion to spend...

IC: The SAK is looking to modernize several areas of its military.

The budget of $1.567 billion has been divided thus:

522 million for the army
522 million for the navy
523 million for the airforce


We are looking for capable, reasonably priced equipment. Tanks for the army, a destroyer or two for the navy, and specifically fighters for the airforce.

OOC: China is taking the north or Pakistan, right? When will that be shown on the map?

IC: Iraniaqi forces are regrouping in a 100 mile radius around Kabul, preparing a strike which would keep casaulties on their side down to an estimated 5% of the total force. This would perhaps be the most efficient battle Iraniaq has yet to fight if pulled off successfully.

In the mean time, reinforcements come from all parts of Iraniaq to support this operation, and garrison newly captured lands in Central Asia from rebel uprisings. But after Afghanistan, Iraniaq's immediate plans are shrouded in mystery. Time will soon tell which path Shabaz chooses to take in the coming weeks.

The Reichstag was in sight now. Nothing could stop the jumbo jet now. German SAMs tried to shot the 747 and blast it out of it's course. But it was too late. The blast made by the Lufthansa 747 was amazing. It crashed into the building at 10.45 pm. Most of the German cabinet and also alot of the German High Command was there that night. The pilots didn't care though. The real ones were dead. Shot and tucked away, while the new ones, were Polish.

Somewhere in Northern Sweden:

JAS 39s were taking off. The tolls taken at the beginning were devastating, but there were still teeths left. Thankfully, these fighters could land just about everywhere, and could outmatch but the newest fighters. This was not going to be easy for the Germans.

In the Gulf of Bothnia:
"Where are we going commander?" said the Finnish soldier.
"Lettland, Estland and Latvia", said the commander, before adding his finishing touch "we're going to take the fight to their side."

Half an hour later, landfall was made, and they were prepared. Ever since the mysterious corpses found in the North Sea were made, preparations had also been made. This fight was not going to be easy.

Citing the lack of a response to the ultimatum to withdraw, HMS Resounding Fury lauched 36 F-18 hornets and 12 Sea Harriers at argentine positions in the Falkland Islands. After 3 hours of aerial bombardment one of the troop ships sent its troops to reclaim the islands. In the South Georgia and South Sandwich islands the situation was repeated with HMS ocean lauching its 6 Sea Harriers folled by its and the troop ships troops. Over 100,000 battle hardened soldiers were involved the the operation and the chiefly british population of the Islands gave support to the UK troops. By the next day the Union Jack once again flew over Port Stanley and Argentina had been completly repulsed from the Islands taking moderate casualties before the troops, horribly outnumbered, surrender. All pow's will be returned at the end of hostilities.

Celebrations throughout the CRME over conquest of Greece and Cyprus

Large scale celebrations took place this night throughout the Conservative Republic, in all major cities where the government has any degree of popularity. To honor the Republic's founder and he who brought this nation to power and glory, the CRME officialy renamed the ancient cities of Athens: "Dragonata", naming the ancient city after the Prime Minister". The Greeks of the land, however, did not take too well to the CRME expansion, and a massive exodus from Greece into the Italian Republic to the north is expected.

Immigration Reform Act passed!

To replace the rapidly fleeing Greeks, the CRME passed the Immigration reform act, which will among other things provide for enough immigrants to come in to replace the fleeing Greeks, and loosen Immigration requirements in general.

Economy Booming!

With increased defense spending, providing new jobs in the defense field, the Unification of much of the Middle East defeating alot of trade barriers, loosened restrictions on business, and over all the increase demand for oil around the world with increased defense spending, the CRME economy is currently growing exponentially with many new CRME citizens getting rich.

Merkava 4 Unveiled

(OOC: Now, I normally understand it's not acceptable just bring up new weapons, but the Merkava 4 is something the REAL Israeli government is doing, and I think it would be done a while ago story thread time, I just missed it until now.}

Today, the CRME officialy declared the Merkava 4 fit for service. Altough extra time was taken to add on Chobham armor, the Merkava 4 is expected to become the main tank of service in the CRME army. Currently only enough for a division are ready, however. More Details on it to come later.[/b]

C.R.S. Ismet Inonu christened, plans for carriers unveiled

Today the CRME officialy renamed the carrier it purchased from France the C.R.S. Ismet Inonu. Furthermore, the CRME officialy unveiled plans to build 4 new Carriers in the future.

Plans to build new aircraft unveiled

The CRME today announced plans to design a new aircraft, though no details have been released. [b]HOWEVER, THE CRME SAID IT WOULD BE DELIGHTED TO SKIP THROUGH THIS PROCESS BY PURCHASING AN AIRCRAFT DESIGN MORE ADVANCED THAN THE F-22 FROM A FOREIGN POWER.

New Defense Bill announced

Pending agressive remarks by the leader of Italy, the CRME announced it would appropiate $3 million for static defenses along the Italian border, altough Prime Minister Dragonata announced wishes for a future with Italian relations good enough that the CRME would not have to make such spending.

Viraat Class Carrier Loads Up

These are the aircraft that flew into Bombay airbases today. Some of these aircraft will be boarding one of India's Viraat carriers. Why this is happening is yet to be found out. The aircraft carrier is docked in Bombay.

Corps III-VIII Load Up

Citizens of Bombay watched in awe. A parade occured for Corps III-VIII welcoming them home from parts of the wars in Burma and Pakistan. With a few weeks rest, Bharat ordered another move. Corps III-VIII, in their entire forms, have been loaded onto transports. The transports, and the Viraat carrier set off today to the west. Their destination is unknown.

They are being escorted by the following naval vessels:

Alliance with South Asian Kingdom

To assure peace between Greater India and the South Asian Kingdom, the presidents of both nations had an extensive meeting today covering the topic of the modernization of the SAK military, free trade, and, of course, a defense and economic alliance. Both presidents shook hands as they announced the newly formed alliance. In return for several state-of-the-art weapons, the SAK is allowing several Greater Indian naval ports to be built on their soil.

New Tank in Thought

Proposed by the defense minister today was a revolutionary multi-purpose tank. The details for the tank are yet to be found out. It will, however, try to match that of a Challenger II tank of Britain, or even a Leopard. The project, says the defense minister, will not reveal the tank or how long it will take to develop this tank until Greater India wishes it to be necessary.
