INVASION!

Once again the great Emporer Nanook-Man sets his army in motion, this time the target is the Northwest Territories of former Canada. The Dene rise up against thier former white occupiers in hopes of securing positions of power in the new government that would spring up in the area. The fight continues and updates will be given as they arise.


To Cascade Republic: Its a shame to hear that our runner didnt make it back, he was actually one of my sisters husbands brothers. He was getting greedy anyway so maybe it was his time to leave this plane of existance. Inform us as soon as trade routes are open and we will engage in trade.


To CSA: We were informed by The Cascade Republic recently that trade routes through former Canada are too dangerous to open trade at this time, however we are sending down the first few machine guns under protection of the Elite Golden Gaurd (EGG). When they arrive all we ask for in return is sex slaves, very hot sex slaves . But they must also be able to bear children, so none too young and none too old, the infirm and barren will not be accepted.

WAR!

DECLARATION OF WAR
President Mrmitchell announced to the nation in a radio address that the POOP had failed to respond to Confederate communications for too long. Their time being up, the President has now authorised troops to enter the POOP-Oppressed Territory/POT.

TEXARKANA TAKEN WITH NO RESISTANCE
Confederate troops stormed the streets of Texarkana, only to find no enemy force there. In fact, the citizens greeted them, and offered them food and other goods. Confederacy soldiers put out the fires that had been started earlier, and marched through and on to Little Rock.

MISSISSIPPI FRONT
Confederate troops are marching through Mississippi to Jackson, leaving a trail of destruction in their path and showing mercy to nothing that doesn't immediately swear loyalty to the South and joins the Army. The Army has already captured a city called Meridan, which remained standing due to the sudden parade thrown by the town upon the Confederacy's capture of it. Resistance was light--about 20 casualties were suffered by the South. POOPhead losses are unknown.

OTHER NEWS
The Tennessee front remains slow-going, but the Confederate Navy has made a surprise attack on New Orleans. They face a much larger naval force, but the element of surprise helped them sink many enemy ships and left the POOP navy in chaotic disarray. Also, despite good news of the war, the Airborne Reconnaissance Division of the CAF (Confederate Air Force) reports seeing thousands of men carrying buckets of pickles and guns going south by land and by boat on the Mississippi.

Territory Gained in Arkansas, Mississippi
Southwest Arkansas and lots of Eastern Mississippi now are under Confederate rule. Also, advances were finally made in Tennessee, and small towns in northeast Louisiana overthrew their POOPhead leaders and pledged allegiance to the CSA. We had no choice but to accept them--what, should we send them back to their masters, the same that whipped them daily and instilled the falsehoods of the Pickle in them?

Troops Expect to March on Little Rock, Jackson Soon
Confederate troops are now very close to the Mississippi and Arkansas capitals of Little Rock and Jackson. They expect a tougher fight than everywhere else, because the Airborne Reconaissance Division has photographed thousands of troops entering both cities.

POOP Navy Offers Tough Resistance
Although they have suffered some more losses, the POOP Navy still has not surrendered to the Confederate Navy. The seas around New Orleans are now filled with parts from ships that were burned, blasted, or just sunk into the watery depths.

President Tassadar has ordered flights which will drop food, bedding supplies, water, and New Republican citizenship papers over the CSA.

Mexican Dictatorship Demands return of escaped citizens!

To accentuate their point, their army has launched a sneak raid on Laredo, Texas. About a sixth of the city was burned or destroyed and over a thousand citizens were killed before the army withdrew. Furious border citizens are calling for war.

TROOPS MARCH ON CAPITALS
Confederate troops today captured the capitals LITTLE ROCK and JACKSON of ARKANSAS and MISSISSIPPI. More territory was also gained in Tennessee, and Lousiana border cities started overthrowing their POOP oppressors to join the Great Confederacy.

President Mrmitchell offers peace to POOP
President Mrmitchell tells POOP that he will offer peace if Arkansas, Mississippi, and Tennessee are recognized as Confederate territory. In the deal, POOP will continue to have shipping rights down the Mississippi, and New Orleans will be placed under joint administration of both nations. No warships will be allowed on the Mississippi, however, by either side. POOP has yet to respond.

MEXICO ATTACKS
Mexico, furious with the CSA keeping escapee immigrants, attacked Laredo today. Much of the city was burned and more than 1,000 innocent civilians were killed by the outrage. This is an ACT OF WAR, and President Mrmitchell has ordered army forces to the Texas-Mexico border to defend. The Army is now stretched thin--fighting POOP and Mexico--but he believes that Mexicans pose little threat.

QUOTE OF THE DAY
"Oh ****, there goes the Missouri invasion" - President Mrmitchell, upon being told of the Mexican attack. However, he quickly covered that it was a mistake, and there never were plans for attacks north of Arkansas or Tennessee.

Airstrikes near Border Forts and Defenses
The New Republican People's Revolutionary Air Force has begun strikes on Mexican border forts in an effort to assist the CSA war effort.
"Mexico killed over a thousand people...And they expect the Great New Republic to stand by? No." President Tassadar commented.
As of reporting, none of the 50 depolyed aircraft have been struck down.
