Hooray for broadband!
Did you order it ahead or something?
My connection took around a month for them to setup.
Back on topic, I will be sending my next email soon, have to catch up. Cars breaking down just aren't fun.I'm building a wagon! On some other part of the internets, obviously (but not that other site).

Nah. I had broadband before moving, so this is just relocation. They told me it'd take 2 weeks - happily that wasn't the case.(\__/) 07/07/1937 - Never forget

Excellent!
So, any eta for your character?
Dorlin did warn you not to visit the cesspit that is Cadingle...
EDIT: It is rather sad when you can't even spell your own character's name correctly. Dorling, indeed!I'm building a wagon! On some other part of the internets, obviously (but not that other site).

UR: That leaves your character being the urban ranger ;-), if you want to add the Bard part in. Don't forget, that in many ways the Ranger is the Fighter/Rogue rolled into one class. You can make a very citywise person who just splashes a few levels of Ranger quite easily.
Jon M: You are succefully getting the messages on the list, right? You are a lurker... just wanted to make sure. All syllogisms have three parts.

Yeah, I guess I will have a shot at the wizard/cleric combo to flesh the party out.
Now since I have never played the new style of AD&D spellcasting, I probably need to have the PHB to proceed. Snowfire, could you please send it to me again first? If that doesn't work, we need to arrange for a direct transfer.
Do multiclass characters work the same way? Clerics can use good armour and weapons, so can I do that while retaining abilities to cast all arcane spells, or wearing armour affects this regardless?(\__/) 07/07/1937 - Never forget

Mad Monk: Sure. I just, um, need an email address. Kind of helps, you know. ;-)
UR: It'll all be explained in the PHB, but weapon familiarity is always retained. So wizards, if they have a level in Fighter say, can still use all Martial weapons (or with the case of Clerics, all Simple Weapons). However, armor does still interfere with your casting of arcane spells. Lighter armor less so than heavier armor. Leather Armor, for instance, has a spell failure rate of 10% (although this is generally ignored for non-combat situations where you can take your time, or theoretically loosen the armor).
I'll try sending it again tonight. Probably the all-text version, so it'll be smaller. All syllogisms have three parts.
