To Destiny of the World VI

What is Destiny of the World?
What can I do? What can't I do?
    How can I sign up?
I have my nation. Now what do I do?

What is Destiny of the World?

Desiny of the World is an online geopolitical game and simulation. To play, players simply pick any nation in the world and lead it. The player controls the armed forces, politicians, sports teams, and everything else within the country's borders. They can wage war, hold elections, blow things up using intelligence officers, win championships, or develop new technologies. Technically, a player is the head of government of the nation he or she picks. They can control aspects outside of government, though.

In Destiny of the World, the possibilities are endless. As leader of your nation, you are in total control. With real players from all sides of the world, Destiny of the World is an exciting and diverse game that caters to those who love military and political affairs.

What can I do? What can't I do?

Players can do a lot with their nations. You may decide the outcome of your elections, where you will deploy your military, how you will fund your social programmes, or who will win a sports match. This game is loaded with opportunities. Some things you cannot do include unrealistic military policies, like invading a friendly nation, creating fantasy weapons or technologies, like flying robot soldiers, or curing diseases in a short timespan.

    How can I sign up?

This is incredibly easy! All you have to do is register with The Frontier (click here to register for free). Once you join, enter the Destiny of the World forum and announce your arrival*. We admit players on a rolling basis; that is, players can join us at any time!

*It should be noted that you must first post two sample newsposts for your country of choice in our out of character (OOC) forum and you will probably be approved by the mods if you aren't completely lacking in the English language or reality.

I have my nation. Now what do I do?

Once a moderator approves your nation claim, you can post as it. Usually, a player makes a "news thread" that announces all of the news from a player's country. The "news thread" is simply a collection of your posts which relate to news. Your posts do not have to resemble essays; a paragraph works just well. Furthermore, you can reply to other nations' threads when they post something that is relevant to you.

Thanks for reading this Brochure! Get ready to lead your nation to glory!

wow...back to your old stomping around again eh Darth?

Well yes, I've been there for a while, and I've monitored NESs too. I wanted to keep them isolated for a bit and see if they develop the same way we did (kinda like going to get a sneak back at evolution) but I guess that's done for. At any rate, there are other games there too, so browse around and have fun!
Who wants DVDs? Good prices! I swear!
