Internal Affairs: A Japanese fleet of ships has been attacked our Asian colonies and have fired upon British fleets. They mistook us for invaders after losing their position, and thought we were occupying Japan. Half the Pacific fleet was lost, and 1,000 civilians were killed in bombardment. A feeling of retributon is spreading through the colonies, and in Asia, the war drums are rolling again outside the Dominion headquauters, wanting a declaration of war to be passed in London. The Prime Minister hasd this to say:

Today, the British Asian islands were attacked in a dasterdly and cowardly attack by Japanese Empire. We have seen no explanation for this unprovoked attack, and it seems that while the wars and innocent blood was shed around the globe, Japan was plotting an attack on a major nation. 1,000 civilians had they're lives cruelly cut short, and Japan attacked our military force.

WCI civil war:
Canada has completely subjugated and conquered the northern nationalists. THe land taken from the US has switched back to the US in a revolt, as has some other nationalist land. Mexico, the PLM, and the Moderate Isolationists together destroyed the rest of the nationalists. The PLM and the Moderates have formed a coalition to unite the nation. A fragment of the PLM, the Social Justice Reformers (SJR), has split off because of this. The Extreme Isolationists have declared independence as the Independent Tribes of Upper California (ITUC). The SJR recognizes its independence but the Coalition does not.

To Russia, Italy, and Germany (secret): Britain suggests that we create a "Defence force" of 1,000,000 men. Each member country is to contribute 250,000 men to this force. The force may only be used to defend Europe, and may not be used without the consent of the 4 member nations.

British Internal Actions: In light of the recent attacks by Japan, the British Navy is on "High Alert" in the Pacific. Britain has sent this peace treaty to Japan:

Those who attacked the British Asian islands are to be handed over to London immediatly, along with £1,000,000. If Japan attacks Britain again, Britain shall invade, without any thought.
