  • Imperial Dip 50: Spring 1873 Moves

    Well, nothing like eternally delayed moves! Being that MDR should be back soon and I could really only do this during the summer, I bid you all farewell for the moment, and give you my apologies. On the bright side, we might be getting a Diplomacy board in the COmputer Lab! That'd be fun...

    That said, if it comes that MDR has dissapeared fully and no replacement GM can be found, I'd be happy to try and do some kind of Sudden Death Overtime if a draw isn't likely. Also, a due date is kind of hard to set, but assuming MDR came back tommorow, hopefully the moves should be ready, at the latest, a week from today (next Saturday the 21st). This is up to MDR, though.

    Rally behind the Virginians! There stands Gen. Ruff like a stone wall.

    "I hate the chinks. Every last one of them." (Stolen from a certain
    honorable U.S. Senator) REPEATED ON PURPOSE. I wish this guy had been our
    President.

    Once again then glorious Mexican navy has to rid the seas of the filthy Dutch.

    Total number of British units holds a slight edge over total amount of teeth
    in an average British mouth.

    Recent polls in Mexico asked, "How do you get a one-armed Turk out of a
    tree?"
    Common Answer, "Shoot him."

    Mexican Waltzes are a true treasure. We hear that they refined the art after
    meeting up with a lass named Matilda down under.

    +++

    Viva Mexico!!! May your brave lancers dine on the bellies of the Chinese
    Emperor's daughters, as hs head rests on a pike.

    ++

    In their effort to build more junk fleets faster, China has taken to using
    tin plating. In the absence of real resources, they have little choice.
    Perhaps they'd have been better off to allow Great Britain to use the
    available resources. At least their ships present some form of an obstacle
    when attacked.

    ++

    Doesn't it figure that the greedy Turks were so jealous of the Chinamen's use
    of the the British whores, that they too have taken a liking to cheap and
    easy pale skinned European women. Typical.

    ++

    All hail mighty Austria!

    To British: Hold on to GRG and let those donkey boys in Turkey get it

    The Decadant Mexico and CSA shall pay for their greed and disloyalty"

      In making the map, I ran across these items, which aren't errors, just clarifications.

      * CSA F Western Pacific Ocean - Izu Trench (fails 1v2)
      * English F Sarawak - Sunda Sea (bounces 1v2 with Luzon Strait)
      * Mexican F West Indian Ocean - Northeast Monsoon (bounces 1v2 with Arabian Sea)
      * Mexican F Antarctic Indian Ocean - Wwest Indian Ocean (bounces with West Indian Ocean)
      * Turkish F Ionian Sea - Tunis (bounces with Tunis)
