  • Imperial Dip 50: Spring 1871 Moves

My apologies about being a bit slow about getting this turn out- ideally I want to start away on it as soon as I get the last orders, but apperantly my little vacation wrecked more havoc with my sleep schedule than expected. That and some confusion about whether an order was recieved.
Post retreats in the thread as usual. As a reminder, if 2 or more armies retreat to the same spot (say, Helgoland Blight) then all are annihilated. On the whole, a pretty boring turn all in all. Only England had exciting things happen for it, really.

    Press

The Mexican Navy is needed to clean up the Mid Atlantic Ocean after the filthy CSA rednecks have once again polluted the worlds oceans. It seems the careless barbarians were celebrating yet another year of plundering the resources of the hapless European scum.

Speaking of European scum, how about that French soccer team! No goals, just like the French to leave the game without a single conquest!

The English are in a bunker again, a man up no less! Hope this time you can at least take a shot.

Dutch, dutch, dutch. I pity you. Nah. I am having fun taking you out one center at a time.

I must say, the CSA is well coordinated machine. Kudos, good sirs!

TO JAPAN, THE RISING SUN IS SETTING, GOODBYE.

TO ENGLAND, YOUR STRENGTH MUST BE MAINTAINED TO FIGHT THE BACKWATER DEVIL DAWGS.

TO TURKEY, GET YOUR CAMEL HUMPING ASS OUT OF MY TERRITORY.

The good ole boys in the butternut and gray of the CSA have discovered that
London beer ain't quite up to speed, and call in the Divine Order to CLEANSE
    the Limey tainted breweries.

Mexican Footbal is like a sore pecker....The more you play with it, the worse
    it gets!

English Ally: "Hey Defiant, do you have a clue as to what we're doing at
all?" Chinese Master(bator): "Ancient Chinese Secret!"
English Ally: "I should kept slavin' away to the CSA. Horray for Dixie!"

Well, in my e-mail I did say Monday, but the_orange1 has requested an extension, so that's wrong anyway. Wednesday it is.

I would post his retreats except for the fact that he sent them to me and they are theoretically supposed to go off simultaneously... so RUFFHAUS, you can post your retreats here since you're the only one who might conflict strategy-wise, then I'll post the ones he sent me.

The mapmaker is highly thanked, those ajudications were in my head, but not on the paper (well, not the unordered ones. I don't go through every unit checking). They're all right.

          Oh yes, retreats:
          England:
          F-Kie retreat to Hel
          F-Hol retreat OTB
          A-Par retreat to Rou

          CSA:
F North Sea retreats to London
          All syllogisms have three parts.
Therefore this is not a syllogism.

I believe that the supported Mexican move to COH should have succeeded and needs to be reflected on the map, please. Thank you

HEY! Does the most honorable Mexicans like to come to the enlightened side of the Chinese

We could make quick work of the moonshine guzzling, inbred, slow talking CSA, of coarse present company excluded.

Don't fear his navy, they are all like the CSS Huntley and will suffer the same tragedy, SINKING.

Ahem. From a post on the 7th, directly above:

But don't worry about it too much.

Looks like the moves will be out Friday, folks.
