RPB is a democratic federation, however it's major industry is not a private capitalistic venture, it is controlled by the military of the RPB. However, smaller factories are encouraged to produce personal items like toys and appliances to increase people's standards of living.

To become a Democracy, RPB will need the support of both the USSR and Canada, as well as a unanimous vote. This is unlikely as the politicians would lose their power in accordance with the RPB Constitution
