GM COMMENTS:
Whoa, France storms in at the 11th hour to snatch second place. Brilliant work from Sahib and Stefu, showing why even seemingly ruined positions can be effective in the right alliance.
Victor hangs on in Russia as Turkey and Germany clash, but bounce in Moscow, which stays in Russian ownership.
SnowFire nearly held on to one SC in Liverpool, but was cornered by France and Germany in the last turn.
Turkey can retreat A Serbia - Greece if he so choses, thus eliminating Gibster. Since it won't get VGR into the final game, nor make a significant difference in scoring after France's charge to second place, I'm assuming that VGR will not retreat to Greece, though he has the option to do so until Monday, November 5th, at 23:59 EDT. After that or confirmation from Vincent on his actual retreat I'll release the final game standings.
Thanks to everyone for a great game.
Please check for accuracy.
