    GM COMMENTS:

Well, the bad news is that we say goodbye to another player. The good news is that SnowFire has managed to last yet another year. Well I suppose that depends on your point of view... Gerwald's Peru has succumed to the vice-like grip applied by Colombia and Bolivia. I've made your retreats on the map (since there are are no alternatives). I'll take care of your disbands as well. I need retreats from Iain and Berzerker, and adjustments from nearly everyone. Actually, I made Iain's retreat as well, but OTB is still an option if you chose.

Fall 1840 retreats adjustments are due Monday, June 25, 23:59 EST. Winter 1840 adjustments will be due Tuesday, June 26, 23:59 EST. Spring 1841 orders will be due Friday, June 29, 23:59 EST.

As always, please check for accuracy.

    ADJUSTMENTS DUE:

ARGENTINA - Disband 1 (pending retreats)
BOLIVIA - No Change (pending retreats)
    BRAZIL - Build 1
    CHILE - Build 1
    COLOMBIA - Build 2
    PARAGUAY - No Change
    PERU - Disband 3 EOG

Goodbye cruel world! I see that a central power needs to talk constantly to his neighbors and still get stabbed for the effort. My only disappointment was my rules mistake in Fall of the second year. I had planned to stab Berzzy and failed to navigate the Andes maze properly. I lost the initiative and Sahib grew very strong. Sahib no longer needed my help, just my SC's. Even though I had done nothing to provoke him, he stabbed. I hope no one is upset at my all units hold tactic, but if I had done anything else it would have helped one of my nemisis more than the other. So I chose to be a nuisance by plainly existing. Good luck to everyone left on the map. Thank you, Ruff, for GMing a interesting variant.

Sorry, Gerwald, that it had to be me who delivered the blow. Stabbing always makes me feel bad, really does. It was a pleasure playing with you and I must say you and Defiant took those stabs very Gentlemen-like. Thanks for that. I hope next time it´ll go better for you, even if it´s me at the recieving end

              GM COMMENTS:

This turn is really just a bit of a formality, since Gerwald's retreats were essentially irrelavent. However, Berzerker retreated OTB and now has a build. And Iain's retreat is still important. However, I have all the Winter adjustment orders, and will be posting them shotly as well.

Winter 1840 adjustments will be due Tuesday, June 26, 23:59 EST (past due). Spring 1841 orders will be due Friday, June 29, 23:59 EST.

In observance of Hogfather and Iain Lindley's computer difficulties, I am postponing the deadline for Spring 1940 to this Friday, July 6 @ 23:59 EST. Hopefully they will have internet access and/or their orders in by then.
