Nigeria counterattacks in the Atlantic! Spainish Armarda sunk of coast of Seville! Germans storm the Rock of Gibralter! Turkish Navy steams west! Russia conceeds Siberia!

An interesting turn, indeed. Facinating stuff, even if less than a dozen units are actually moving. Well, after 18 years of war (36 turns at approximately one per week) we are down to 5 players. Sadly, we say good bye to Shadowstrike and Spain. Nice press though!

There is but one retreat needed for Fall 2017. Defiant, I've assumed that your A Siberia will retreat to Kazakhstan. If for some reason you want this to go OTB, let me know by Wednesday, January 10, 11:59 EST. Winter adjusments will be Thursday, January 11, 11:59 EST. Shadowstrike, thank you for serving loyally as Spain in relief of Jason and Hans. I'll take care of your disband order for you, and your ADC points have been logged. Oh yes, the EOG....

I came into this game, and hoped that it would not be like the other 2, where I died soon after I came. It was not. Close to the beginning I lost all the holdings in Southern France, but I had no viable way of portecting them anyhow. Then, Victor came forth with his "invincible wall" strategy, and it worked. But on the critical turn, I built a fleet instead of an army, and sealed my own fate. My line crumbled, and I perished. Oh well, at least I hung on for so long (or so it seems).
