Well, I'll get some rules set up, and we can start by tommorrow if you wish.
And I've changed, I want to be Sweden.
Someone else can have the Ottoman Empire...
Since I will probably be mod, I will probably control the little nations, but I will be fair... (since Denmark is taken there is no open nation to help me even if I wanted them too... )
NOt really fight with them, but control their basic diplomacy...

I claim the Ottoman Empire!"Compromises are not always good things. If one guy wants to drill a five-inch hole in the bottom of your life boat, and the other person doesn't, a compromise of a two-inch hole is still stupid." - chegitz guevara
"Bill3000: The United Demesos? Boy, I was young and stupid back then.
Jasonian22: Bill, you are STILL young and stupid."

Oops... sorry...
Okay, I only knew the starting strength of one army during this time period, Prussia's. But thanks to the board game Empire in Arms, I have a map that lists territories and how much they can raise militarily... so, I figured up Prussia's territory, came up with a conversion, and these are the starting army numbers for the "major powers"
Prussia: 100,000 troops
England: 247,520 troops (but some much be stationed overseas in her colonies)
Holland: 42,000 troops
France: 301,600 troops
Spain: 224,640 troops (like England)
Russia: 599,040 troops (most in garrision duties from Siberia and Alaska to
Kazakistan, mabye 250,000 available for European duty at most)
Denmark: 85,000 troops
Ottoman Empire: 657,280 troops (if they ever fielded this army, it is mostly levies and militia of very poor quality... the only exception is the Janissaries)
Poland: 239,200 (If they can get their act together)
Austria: 291,200 troops
Naples: 80,000 troops
Portugal: 52,000 troops
Piedmont/Savoy: 30,000 troops
Lombard Duchies: 35,000 troops
Romagna: 31,000 troops
Tuscany: 30,000 troops
Papacy: 19,000 troops
Bavaria: 46,000 troops
Sweden: 106,000 troops
i'll fill in the others a little later...

Napoleon, in case you didn't notice (not to be rude here) but we begin in 1750. And being France, I will immediately seize tensions between Britain and France, to make things interesting.
Go France, go! 2nd most powerful army dealing with numbers, and best of all: We are actually well-equipped.
Napoleon, stop complaining. You are not even French!

And I know for a fact France's army was larger than Spain's...
