Story Thread idea...

I don't know if this has been tried, but what about a story thread of 18th century Europe, starting around like 1750...
You would have thes major nations:
Spain
France
Austria
Prussia
England
Russia
Ottoman
Sweden
Denmark
Bavaria
Saxony
Poland
Naples
Wurtemmburg
Portugal
Venice


And more to these could probably be added...

Prussia is the only German state worth posting for.

well, som,e other possible states include:
Mameluke Egypt
Algeria
Persia
Baden


And no, Prussia at this point isn't the only good German state... she had a centralized and very efficient army, but Bavaria, Saxony or Wurtemburg had large armies as well (though not as well led or trained)...

Scott, you could take Austria, while not as well led IRL, they are MUCH larger...

note:
both Poland and the Ottoman Empire were quite weak at this time. Bavaria is that tiny little country right to the west of the Austrian Empire.

This is right after the Seven Years War (aka the French and Indian War).
