You are not ignorant of your history in this instance, but given the choices of: a) Making all Warsaw Pact countries part of the USSR, b) Leaving Eastern Europe as a jumble of small, weak countries that no-one would want to use, or c) merging all the eastern European countries together, Jack has apparently gone for option c).

I put warsaw pact as one power that someone could use. Now they could not possibly go against the Soviet Union. but yeas eastern europe is a spreate nation in the NES not part of Soviet Union.Comment

The sources I looked at say that Denmark was part of NATO, Norway wasn't, and Austria and Yugoslavia weren't Warsaw Pact members.Those walls are absent of glory as they always have been. The people of tents will inherit this land.Comment

I don't know about the stats...even if they aren't correct, they look like they will serve as well as any.
