Thanks, Vultur! I just received the word from you.

BTW, I just noticed one small typo in the 0.4.3 beta release.

    Toogle -> Toggle

    Nice work all in all.

      Yay!

Toogle, hmm, that sounds suspiciously like Google...
But don't be embarassed, I once mistook google for googol.

          Map Builder 0.4.3

          Summary

This new beta version of Vultur's map tool, Map Builder, can be obtained now from the new FTP server of the Stella Polaris project.

          Download

Stella Polaris, FTP (size: 1 Mb, ZIP)

          Notes

I recommend that you read the readme.txt file for any additional information and a list of features. In a very quick test I couldn't find any bugs, but please report here any bugs you happen to find as that will speed up the development of the Map Builder. The source code will be available as soon as I get it from Vultur and it has been uploaded.

Hey, that's not a problem. Everyone make typos and mistakes.

I've just had a quick peek at the program, seems quite powerful I had a slight problem using the arrows on my keyboard to scroll around the map. Is it supposed to allow arrow movement, or is it just cursor?

I suppose the next step for it is to get some tile art done, but I'm a bit lost at sea in that department

Sorry, neither arrows nor keypad are available (this problem will be fixed very soon), use mouse for scrolling and tile selection.
If you feel lost in the total sea try to toggle on (typed correctly ) the map's grid pressing "G".

Hasn't anyone found any bugs in Map Builder? No suggestions or development feedback?

Well, at least so far the Map Builder looks good, IMO. If the GUI is working and things are improved, I would say it's a good tool for making maps. Maybe I should make a few example maps and upload them to the FTP server so that you wouldn't have to start from scratch when testing this new toy.

Someone has asked for arrow and keypad?
Here there is the .EXE to solve the problem!
Delete the old .EXE, and replace with this one.
This is not a different version, you need only the new file.

Hasn't anyone found any bugs in Map Builder?
No, because my code is totally bug-free
Stop kidding, the code will be upload @ FTP server soon.

Thanks for the code and updated EXE file, Vultur!

The version of Map Builder now available on the FTP server is up-to-date with the patched executable, so if you haven't previously downloaded Map Builder, you just download Map Builder from the FTP server. There's no need to download the new executable as it's already included (unless you've downloaded Map Builder prior today).
