    • I could test out the Barbarossa thing, but I need to know what unit you think it should be. I was thinking the Supply Truck, but then I was worried that it might not get attacked because it was only a supply truck...

            Cifer, I have tried your idea, and it might work!

            Here is a screen shot that makes me wonder 2 things:

            1. I might change Germany's civ colour back to blue or white. In order that you can see things better.

            2. Do you have a city in mind that would be most appropriate for the square the Engineer is on?

              It means you could delay the attack...

              If we can arrange to have something happen in the German turn that will be guaranteed to work, the German civ can launch into war against the USSR...

                • Didn't the German's dress up some concentation camp prisoners in german uniforms and have them shot, to make it look like they had been the victim of a Russian raid to provide an excuse for invading?
                  It would take up a unit slot, but you could have a barbarian "slave labour" unit be to be killed by Germany to trigger the war: would make it seem a bit more logical.
                  The "slave labour" unit could be build by the germans (and Japanese and Russians) or given via event using the settler slot? So you dont waste the unit slot.

                    Your screenshot looks good!

                    The field the engeneer is on is almoust Nuremberg
                    in fact its a little more in the West - but its okay! (And Nuremberg was a real important city for the Nazis).

                    Perhaps a light brown could do it? Or a blue?

                    Little report: I took playing the Axis LONDON in turn2! Is that meant like this? (i played deity). I will see, if I am able to hold it now...

                    And I do not wanna annoy you but... what about a second Italian city? Like Milan perhaps? From then on ill shut up!

                    Milan, Turin and Genua are the econmocly strong North of Italy (somehow compareable with the Ruhrgebiet) so one city could represent it well!

                    Pap was right with Detroit and Pittsburgh, I think.

                        The slave labour thing is an interesting idea...
                        British and US infantry = Japanese Slave labour
                        Russian Infantry = German Slave labour
                        German Infantry = Soviet Slave labour

                        I was thinking of a barb infantry or engineer unit,
                        It opens an interesting chance...
                        The choice of opening Barbarossa or not?
                        It would only trigger the Eastern war if Germany attacks it.
                        I reckon the AI would always attack it too...

                        Other scenarios have the Eastern Front as a foregone conclusion...
                        But this might be a way to decide history, sort for rolling Open season and regualr Dictator together!

                          The scenario would never be as cool with out the help of you fine playtesters and advisors!

                          Nuremberg is more in tune with the WW2 mood.

                          Owning London is the key to Axis triumph in Europe, did the H-Class ships event work OK?

                          I think the German AI civ needs more power in this scenario, more cities will help without making any unbalancing issues.
